    What do you really think about Nero as the future protagonist?

    I love Nero, that to begin with, I liked him in 4(not a lot but hey) and fucking became in love with him in 5, but the future of the series aims to him being the successor and protector of the earth, without Dante and Vergil at all What do you really think of this? Because from a standalone point, could Nero carry a whole story/game by himself? This would mean no mention of Dante/Vergil at all, or at least as minimum as possible (Or Sparda bloodline in general but I think it's time for this guy to make an appearance already) As I said, love Nero and I'm excited to see what they will do with him, but what do you guys think?

    DMC4: on his path to Agnus secret lab Nero should've asked himself what the hell is he even doing

    Let me get this straight: Nero is tasked with tracking down Dante but he has no clues about Dante's whereabouts so he just kinda wanders in a random direction hoping he will eventually bump into his target. Then he stumbles upon the Fortuna castle and goes inside despite having no reason to suspect that Dante is hiding there. Once inside the building Nero spends time and effort breaking through a wall decorated with Sanctus portrait while, again, having zero reason to assume that whatever is behind that wall, if anything is even there, may advance him on his quest.

    Am I missing something?

    I just wanted to repost this because I have just finished my first DMC fanfic ^__^

    It's a what-if take based on the achievement "Well I'll Be Damned", the one where you defeat Urizen early and cut the story short (hence the fanfic XD)

    And it took me just a week to finish it with seven chapters, a new record for me. Motivation is indeed something XD
