| Posted: 18 Dec 2019 01:36 PM PST I love this game and I plan to finish it in Dante Must Die mode, everything about this game was amazing, especially the plot, just the ending was kinda like, huh that's it? LOL im glad Vergil is back though, does this mean he's technically a good guy now? The ending to me was like Vergil just wanted Dante to fight him nonstop just for fun now, not so much of "killing each other" or "i need more power" type of mindset. But if you guys ever browse Twitter, there are people who post screenshots from the game using alot of mods and that includes a camera mod where you can basically move it around freely and take wallpaper worthy screenshots from the game. Im a console peasant so I cant really do what PC can do with mods Anyways SPOILER ALERT, I saw this set of screenshots of Urizen on Twitter where you can see the front of Urizen instead of its shadow on chapter 12, where originally it didnt show its form from the angle of the camera. I really wanna see it again and I forgot who posted it. Its been few days since the last time I saw it and Im not sure when it was posted.. I dont know if its posted here either. | Version of Devil May Cry (1) to play Posted: 18 Dec 2019 05:48 PM PST I'm currently trying to get into Kamiya's games, and I was hoping to play DMC before the end of the year. Unfortunately, I'm in the process of having a condo to move into remodeled and all of my consoles are in storage. Is the PC port up to snuff? I've heard that the HD Collection has issues and the Steam version of it even more. If you can, please be specific about the problems the ports have, even if you don't think that they're a major issue. I wanted to change that though and attempt a 100% at DMCV (although screw getting all S) and I just got to the Urizen fight on DMD with Nero. | Posted: 18 Dec 2019 07:48 AM PST I've seen many threads about this topic but I didn't find any satisfactory hypothesis. Many would like the introduction of this character in the series as being alive, being a witch or something...but quite frankly I'd prefer if she's dead. In my headcanon, she doesn't fit as a prostitute, I'd rather think that Vergil had fallen in love with her. I don't think that would be out of character for Vergil, in DMC5 [SPOILERS] before mission 18 V tells Nero that he just wanted to be loved, so I don't find implausible that Vergil could've fell in love with Nero's mom and this could be used to strenghten Vergil's motivations that would lead to his actions in 3. I thought that their closeness could've be seen badly from the villagers of Fortuna and, after the girl was impregnated (without both knowing it), a random demon attack would end in her seemingly killed. Vergil would then find himself blamed for her death, prompting him to flee and hate himself even more for his weakness, starting his extremely cold and power-hungy persona of DMC 3. It would turn out though that the young lady survived but in extremely bad health conditions. Yet, she would carry a baby in her womb and would not die until Nero was given birth. With some good writing I think this could end up as a nice bonus story for a future game. Let me know what you think about this [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 18 Dec 2019 02:36 PM PST Devil may cry took inspiration from the reboot regarding Vergil's and Kat's relationship and applied it to Nero's mother? (with a little tweaks of course) a Dmc comic briefly addressed (VergilxKat) relationship.in short,he saw her using her powers,got interested,followed her home,saw some devilish things going on,she was being tortured and saved her. Kat becomes infatuated with him,decides to help him find Donte and they grow close to each other. Vergil has feelings for her and even kisses her in the comic,when they get out of the danger zone, he decides to wipe out both of their memories (am confused) because he realizes he put her in danger,and so they forget they had feelings for each other. i personally didnt like how they handled this whole VergilxKat thing so i wouldn't wish they incorporate any of it in the original game (in my opinion,i dont think it fits OG Vergil's character at all) but seeing how Itsuno did like the reboot,enough for him to even take a few things from it and put it in his game.....i guess anything can happen? so if Nero's mom story ended up being something close,would you like that premise?
