I've only been a part of it for a month or two, but everyone here has been super nice and helpful, and of the gaming subs I'm on, this has gotta be the least toxic one I've encountered. Kudos to y'all, and happy hunting!

3 Big Upcoming Video Projects - Comprehensive In-Depth Parry Guide & Showcase!

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 11:11 AM PDT

Hey everyone, thought I'd share my progress on my 3 planned - work in progress - video projects:I love parrying. This is probably my favorite in-game mechanic in the game.

I've been releasing some cool gameplay music video on my channel - featuring lots of SSStylish parries. After reading some of the comments - I felt I want to delve deeper into this fascinating facet in DMC5 deep combat system. Share some of my tactics, hopefully helping others getting better and more familiar with the amazingly deep Parrying mechanic.

Planned projects at the moment are quite HUGE:

    1. First project will be: "Cavaliere Angelo Comprehensive Parry & Counter Guide and Showcase" - With different methods of parrying with every weapon and Breaker.
    2. Second project will be a very in-depth, all encompassing: "Full Enemy Parrying Guide and Gallery" - meaning for EVERY PARRY-ABLE NORMAL ENEMY in the game! This will feature Dante - with every weapon. As well as some other handful tactics, counters and combos/chaining.
    3. Third project will be the similar -but featuring Nero. Covering all of the Devil Breakers in the process as well.

Been recording for hours, with lots of cool findings and discovered new tactics and counters I never knew before. Can't wait to show it.

    What do you guys think?

A.. I'm not sure if I should roll the 2 Enemy Parry Videos into one - or split it to one video for every character. There's just so many options and content to show. So I'm afraid it will be too much for 1 video. Perhaps it's better to keep it organized and split into two deep, thorough videos for every character.

    B. Also, is there anything else or specific you'd like to see in this video (or featured in a new one)?

    C. Do you think I should just show the Parrying with various weapons and attacks - or show some chaining and add some combos and finishers in there for fun?

    D. Should I also show examples for bad-timing and failed parries (from my trial&error)? Or just the perfect ones?

    E. Would you like to see as many Parry examples possible - with every weapon and as many attacks possible? That include some crazy unorthodox parrying, and more high risk & Stylish parries - just to look over-the-top! Or would you rather see just the "best and safest parries"?

    ---

Just to give you folks a perspective: I've amassed quite a few hours of raw data and in-depth testing, and around +140GB of glorious 4K 60fps video footage recorded! (ouch! this is going to be hard to edit and render.

In the meanwhile, I guess I got my work cut out for me. It will take a while...This probably won't be my next video on my Channel, since I still got some upcoming videos waiting in queue - that I'm very excited to show already. Will update when I can.

**Edit: In the meanwhile, you are very welcome to check out my Full DMC5 Series - on my Channel [Ransom Seraph] here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLn4dzTecxGFX9r4jzHs9dNoxXUjhv-7Cs

Thoughts on DMC5 Dante Must Die?

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 11:02 AM PDT

I am about to start Dante Must Die on DMC 5 and was just wondering how everyone felt about it. I have completed 1, 2 and 3 on DMD difficulty and was wondering how comparable they are to 5? Specifically DMC 3 as it gave me the most challenge. Any tips are welcome too :)
