Posted: 22 Jul 2021 06:21 PM PDT So I'm pretty new (kinda) to DMC, and I say kinda because I played DMC3 when I was like 5 and haven't touched the series until recently with DMC5. One meme that seems to be pretty common is the garden chair, and I was wondering where its origins came from?? [link] [comments]
My most favorite quote in Devil May Cry Posted: 22 Jul 2021 07:54 AM PDT I love this quote so much "Foolishness, Dante. Foolishness. Might controls everything. And without strength you can not protect anything. Let alone yourself." In our world, power controls everything. The powerful dominate and fight, while the ones of the lower classes deprived of power and rights are sacrificed for the pleasure and preservation of pride for the ones with power. Vergil witnessed the power his father and the demon lords possessed, and how it led to him seeing his beloved mother's demise. Vergil is a very misunderstood persona. He doesn't seek power simply to be the one to abuse it. He seeks to have all power in his possession, so no one else can misuse it. He wants to save the world, in his own twisted ways. Without power you can't protect anything. Not your loved ones, not the people of the world, nor yourself. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Jul 2021 07:30 PM PDT I am currently trying to beat this level on dmd and am wondering how do I break open the big rocks on the last fight that have the vitality in them? I feel like I have tried everything and nothing has succeeded. [link] [comments]

For Nero's players, if a system like this was implemented to the character, how would you feel? Posted: 22 Jul 2021 11:59 AM PDT First of all, I would like to apologize for the bad presentation, and repeated use of switching & between. I tried to use more variety but my vocabulary in English is pretty bad. Anyway, let's start. Changing Break Away (LB by default) to something that can change his base mechanics and taking out Wire Snatch to give Devil Breakers directional inputs would be a good way to start. Let's say that LB+B would allow us to access a second move list for the Breakers. Switching between the Breakers would be like that: UP: Overture / New Breaker.1 LEFT: Gerbera / Helter Skelter RIGHT: Punchline / New Breaker.2 DOWN: Ragtime / New Breaker.3 To switch between primary and secondary Breakers simply tap the direction you are currently using once For example, you're using Overture, tap UP once to switch to New Breaker.1 Double Tap if you want to use a secondary Breaker in another direction. Example: you are using Overture and would like to use New Breaker.2? Double Tap RIGHT. LB+RT would be used to switch between DB magazines. For example: Magazine.1 has all the aforementioned 8 DBs, Magazine.2 will have 8 new ones. The Devil Breakers (LB+B): Overture: Remember the Plasma from DMC1? Let's bring them back and have one of these act as a doppelganger for Nero. The no-lock-on version will have Nero's appearance, while the lock-on version will have the appearance of the enemy you are locked on upon activation. Gerbera: The Second Mode will focus on Gerbera offensive power, beams, and energy manipulation. Look up Lee Entropy/S-rank Lee from Punishing Gray Raven you will see what I mean. Punchline: First of all, give us more things to do when we ride it, like combo A to D, directional inputs that create Skateboard Park parts like ramps, bars, and ledges to grin on, etc. Just go full Tony Hawk on this thing. The Second move list will mostly focus on projectiles and AOE attacks, Goliath fireball, the stomach mouth vacuum, Berial Fire pillars & that "put the flames on man! you're naked!" AOE attack of his. Helter Skelter: Wind Powers. Tornadoes that can attract enemies into them, can be ignited with Exceed and provide Nero different alternatives to send enemies in the air (other than Charge Shot 3). The no lock on attacks will be horizontal tornadoes & vertical for those with. (See To Aru Majutsu no Index's Accelerator's fight with Kakine for example.) Ragtime: Starting Point, a move that creates a "checkpoint*" that Nero or a designated (Lock-on) enemy can be teleported to. After creating a checkpoint (no lock-on+B), on the ground or in the air, inputting B again will teleport Nero (no Lock-on) or an enemy (lock-on) to that location. Melee Weapons Switching (LB+UP D-PAD): Red Queen, Mirage Yamato, and Devil Bringer (Hand-to-Hand) Melee Weapons Form Switching (LB+Right D-PAD): RQ (Sword/Halberd/Scythe) MY (Single Sword/a Wolf Dance (Masamune Date/Sengoku Basara) equivalent) DB (Different Martial Arts) Firearms Switching: Blue Rose, a fast shouting gun (the sub-machine gun from dmc2 for example) Red Queen (LB+LT to switch between the two breakers, which cannot be broken. LB+Y to activate and deactivate One Night Stand. Tomboy: Holds two modes: Default (Red Queen's normal attacks) and One Night Stand. During One Night Stand Red Queen will have new Combos A to D, Directional inputs, so Bloody Queen Air will have become a pause combo. Rawhide: The way Hollow Ichigo uses Shikai Zangetsu against Muramasa during the Zanpakuto filler arc is probably the best way to see how a Rawhide/Red Queen combo could look like. Blue Rose (LB+Left D-PAD): new Color Up ammunition types. Explosive (Like the Trouble Shooter from Dungeon Fighter Online) or Devil Breakers related bullets (see the Specialist from DFO as well) Sub-machine gun: Fast Hitting but low damage, with the acrobatics from Resonance of Fate when moving the joystick, so it can behave little like Coyote-A. Devil Bringer: Have them be more interactive like the holds in DOA, short animations that can be chained to make a long one. And have them be more visually dynamic like the QTE from Vanquish. Thank you for reading a post you have probably seen a hundred times already on this sub. [link] [comments] |
