    Character controls for DMC 5? (Excluding V)

    So I got back into DMC 5 recently and my controls for all the characters, yes Vergil as well, are not really working for me anymore. I'm wondering what you all use for each character, maybe they can help me. A couple of notes: 1. I don't need a control scheme for V, the controls I have a good to me and I don't want to change them. 2. I don't use any paddles or controller mods, only the default controller. 3. I'm on the PS4 Please help me, thanks.

    2 weeks ago, Adi Shankar told us on Instagram that he's working on the new DMC Anime and is looking f***ing rad. Check it out here:

    Therefore, the new DMC Anime is pretty much coming. It'll just take time for it to be done.

    So the question is, will the new DMC Anime take place in the mainline DMC universe or alternate universe?

    I remember that Adi Shankar once told IGN in an interview that the new DMC Anime will join Castlevania in what they're calling bootleg universe.

    So does that mean that the new DMC Anime will take place in an alternate universe which is bootleg universe?

    Or the new DMC Anime may still take place in the mainline DMC universe?

    Anybody wish Vergils BP floor 101 was Dante?

    Kind of a short post, I've just always felt like the final floor of bloody palace for Vergil should have been Dante. Sure fighting Vergil as Vergil is cool, but past the first time I ran it, it's just not really entertaining.

    Plus the final boss of Vergil campaign is Dante so it's not like there's anything they would have needed to add into the game. I guess my point is just that the Dante boss fight on M20 Vergil is a real goddamn fun and incredibly unique battle, and IMO it would make Vergil's BP quite a bit more fun.

    Most useless move (Dante edition)

    It's fair to say that the overwhelming majority of Dante's moveset in DMC5 is great, but with how many moves he has they're not all going to be winners. So I picked out a few of what I and many others consider to be his least useful moves so people could vote on which one they definitively think is the worst. If people enjoy these kinds of polls I'll also do one for the other characters and potentially the other games too

    Which Devil May Cry is your favourite and why?

    DMC4 holds a special place in my heart because it was my first DMC and I loved it. Back then it didn't feel unpolished to me. I didn't really have an understanding for analysing video games and, I know, some parts in the levels are a bit annoying but I love Nero and his story line. 5 is my all time favourite tho. It's just soooo polished and fun. Story and atmosphere are on point. You just feel that they knew exactly what they were doing and achieved it. The character designs, cutscenes and animations (especially facial expressions) are so fucking good that I rarely skip a cutscene even after playing it for at least the 10th time. I really have no complains about it accept that the levels are moooostly just walking from combat encounter to combat encounter without much in between and some of the environment art is a bit repetitive (especially the Qliphoth). The hidden Tony Hawk level is dope tho. I love 3 and 1 too of course! 3 is without a doubt a masterpiece but 5 is just….newer, combat perfection and therefore more fun, in my opinion of course! The bosses in 3 and 5 are the coolest of ‚em all. I love 1 too but it just aged (the locked camera brrrr…). Who could ever forget „Flock off, feather face!"? 2…..yeeeeeaaahhh….. This is purely subjective of course but I'd love to hear your opinions!

    The Ranking System for 5 (specifically Missions 8, 10, and 18)

    How exactly does the Ranking system in DMC 5 work? Like what's the actual formula for it?

    And what is it about mission's 8, 10, 18's Ranking systems that them so different (and so much more difficult)?
