    Recently, I got a 4K monitor, and Devil May Cry 4 is one the games that I can run in 4K without my GPU shitting itself, so I decided to play through the whole game again (even though I have maxed out everything with everyone).

    The opening cutscene of the game with Dante made me realise how horrifying he and his brother can be. When I first saw Dante go to town like that, I was sure that he hadn't turned on humanity, but it was still pretty shocking. The guy drops in, without even one word, looks evil as fuck with blood on his face, stabs through a guy, uses the corpse of the said guy to smash two other guys and walks off any damage that Nero deals to him like "Bitch please..." And remember; this is supposed to be the chiller and the calmer of the two brothers. Imagine if Vergil was like this. Some may think he was like this during 3, but he wasn't. Even in three, he still had the occasional one-liner *insert bash meme.*

    For a moment, imagine if both brothers were as cold as Dante was during the opening of the fourth game, it would be fucking horrifying. Like, drop the whole pizza memes, the wacky stuff, the shit talk, the back and forth with Trish and Lady, all of that. They would be these efficent, almost-unstoppable killing machines. I do realise that as soon as you read "Drop the whole pizza memes,... all of that" you thought about making a Devil May Cry 2 joke, but in that game. Dante wasn't the way he is in the fourth game. In two, he is a try-hard, edgelord without any fucking personality. During the opening of four, he is more on the serious side rather than the "I-have-no-personality" side.

    DMC 5 Mission 19

    I dont know anyone personally who plays DMC so I want to share this here.

    I've played through Demon Hunter difficulty twice now. First on PS4 and then on PC. My PS4 run was filled with challenge and fun but when I came to Dante I almost exclusively used sword master. This time around I've found use in trickster teleport moves and have enlisted in the royal guard.

    Boy oh howdy does royal guard make bosses a blast. Nero is my favorite to play as and I wish he had it just to use it more. This is all funny cause I normally suck at parry mechanics.

    But now to the point, mission 19 might be my favorite video game boss fight ever and for the first time ever I let out an audible yell of joy at beating a boss. I took several practice runs, royal guarded so many of the moves and even royal released the jet maneuver ending the phase.

    It was a blast, thanks for letting me share
