Unless I'm very much mistaken, Trish can use Sparda as a lightning rod and conductor for the electricity from some attacks

DMC 5 is amazing, I'm one of you now!

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 01:56 PM PDT

I wanted to share some thoughts from a new player, my first DMC game was DmC: Devil May Cry on my Xbox 360, I loved that game but I put the franchise aside. A few months ago (5 or 6 I think?) I found DMC V on sale, I liked the graphics and esthetic, so I decided to give it a try. I completed the game on a few days and right now I'm on Dante Must Die difficulty, it's really hard cause I'm not that good with combos, and I just do a few, but I'm enjoying it so far!

I wanna try all the previous games when I see them on sale and enjoy all the lore and fun gameplay from this franchise.

It's kinda strange that I loved this game that much, I played other Hack'n slash games before like the classics GOW and Bayonetta and I never enjoyed that kind of games, but DMC feels totally different!

I just wanted to express my feelings for this franchise, and I hope to be welcomed here, thanks for coming to my post!

Some of you may know that you can parry with Neros overture arm, however I discovered other arms that can parry. Sorry about the video quality. I hope this was useful!

    Never played DMC before

But I bought V solely on hearing the themes and I gotta say I love the game. Sadly I suck at it, but trying to learn the characters and avoid using auto mode, since I felt like I was robbing myself the point of the game. Glad to have finally gotten into the DMC Franchise

practicing royal guard in the void and wouldn’t let myself stop until I blocked every attack up to SSS

What dante style do you use the most and why?

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 05:55 PM PDT

The style I use the less is most likely either royal guard or gunslinger because I mostly use swordmaster and trickster

How strong is Credo Angelo supposed to be?

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 07:02 PM PDT

I was looking at a tier list and it said that Credo was pretty weak because he was a mini boss. Pretty much everyone regardless of how strong they are if they aren't of sparda descent or Mundus get dealt with pretty easily so I was wondering his actual rank within the DMC lore. I mean he died from a regular stab wound and even Arkham had better regen and durabiity than that, but he was also touted as a big deal in the Order.

    That perfext judgement cut

    A possible missed opportunity?

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 02:03 PM PDT

I don't know if this has already been talked about before, but what would it be like if the Arkham fight in DMC3 had 3 phases instead of 2? What I'm talking about is that you know how in the cutscene before the fight starts Arkham is seen assuming Sparda's Demon Form but near the end of the cutscene he transforms into a weird blob thingy? What if the developers had split the cutscene in two, edited them into entirely separate cutscenes, and inserted a new First Phase in between the two new cutscenes where Dante fights Arkham in Sparda's DT Form, with the current Phases 1 and 2 becoming Phases 2 and 3 respectively?
