Good starting points to play the DMC games

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 07:45 PM PDT

I'm looking to play the DMC games and was wondering if I should start with the original 3 games or if I should start with 4 or 5 being some of the latest releases.

One of my favourite pics that I’ve taken. What it doesn’t show you is Vergil kicking my ass (DMD difficulty)

Lore. Spoiler. Diverging point : V

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 10:40 AM PDT

I dont understand what's happening in that mission. I have already finished the game but I dont get what's with all this dimensions thing and V having to fight old bosses of Dante and Nero's mission to take back control of his familiars.

Is there something I overlooked that would help me understand ? Or just a bullshit "it's in his mind to heal himself he needs to believe" ?

DMC 1 DMD Mission 16+ help

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 12:11 PM PDT

First of all, I suck at those games. Secondly, I need help from mission 16 until the last nightmare boss. Griffon 3 was a pain I swear to you I've looked at a lot of guides, detailed runs and even speedruns on DMD and I couldn't replicate what they did. Ended up using all of my holy waters until he died.

Now I am stuck with the big boy the nightmare on mission 16 DMD. Any tips for this? (Also The last nelo and the other 2 nightmares please) The only plat that's missing from the whole HD collection trilogy (1-2-3). Playing as Dante, not LDK if that somehow helps or is relevant.

Alternate Endings For Devil May Cry 5

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 09:25 PM PDT

This is merely speculation, alternate endings and different ways the series could've went through, starting from Devil May Cry 4's ending.

    -Yamato Ending:

Dante decides to take Yamato back (Though it's kind of out of character for Dante) and keeps it with him. Due to his demonic powers, Yamato is embedded within Dante like Rebellion and all other devil arms.

Vergil comes back, but at this point, he can't overpower Dante like he did with Nero, Dante is stronger than Vergil at his weakened form, like way stronger.

Dante ends up either killing Vergil, or, he ends up finding a different way to save Vergil (Gold Orbs or something, I don't know.)

This is theoretically the happiest ending, if Vergil is saved without murdering half the planet.

    -Vergil's Death:

Vergil actually ends up dying, he couldn't find a way to save himself and dies before ever coming back to Yamato, or, Vergil actually ends up dying during the events of Devil May Cry 1. (The only game to hint his survival after Nelo Angelo 3 is DMC5).

Due to this, Dante and Nero live a happy ending, and go hunting demons with each other for eternity. (Shall Never Surrender reference, No?)

    -Sin Devil Trigger Ending:

Dante, while fighting Urizen, realizes a true power within the Sparda and Rebellion. He also realizes he can't defeat Urizen so he has to look for other options. After The Rebellion's destruction, he grabs the Sparda from Trish like he did in the actual game and grabs the broken half of Rebellion. He then proceeds to stab himself in the boss room. After that, he then gets Sin Devil Trigger and proceeds to annihilate Urizen.

Either Urizen dies and Vergil never comes back, or V reunites with Urizen and Vergil is back.

Though....um....Vergil is significantly weaker than Dante. Due to him not eating the fruit and not having Sin Devil Trigger. Plus, he's also weaker than Pre and Post-Fruit Urizen. Because base DT Dante and base DT Vergil are equal, that means base DT Vergil can't defeat or overpower his demon side.

If Dante beat Pre-Fruit and Post-Fruit Urizen, also SDT Vergil, technically, then Vergil needs a power boost without killing half the planet. Also, Nero never gets DT, or not yet.

Is DMC HD collection worth it on ps4?

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 10:47 PM PDT

Never played any of the games. I have a PC and PS4 but right now its on sale for PS4 so I thought hey it's cheaper and there isnt a difference between the ports.
