Unpopular Opinion: Fighting Dante as Vergil in DMC 4 Special Edition is a lot more interesting and fun than fighting Vergil as Dante in DMC 5. Posted: 18 Jun 2020 10:20 AM PDT I've fought Vergil in DMC 5 so many times as Dante that I got bored of it, and while using Nero or V may seem to be more fun due to their limitations, I still find fighting Vergil in DMC 5 to be boring now solely because of the fact that he's predictable; He always does Judgement Cut End right after he does his air raid attack, which always occurs when he's around 50% health. Don't get me wrong, it was fun fighting Vergil for the first time in DMC 5, but after the 50th time I've just grown bored of him. On the other hand, as much as I don't like DMC 4 Special Edition, fighting Dante in Mission 10 on LDK Difficulty as Vergil is far more fun and interesting. Dante isn't as predictable, his moveset is his far more expansive than Vergil's in DMC 5, his style switching forces you to change your tactics on the fly, and he can even counter against spamming Force Edge's overpowered round trip attack with Royal Guard. All in all. I enjoy fighting Dante in DMC 4 SE on LDK mode as Vergil more than fighting Vergil in DMC 5 DMD Difficulty as Dante. submitted by /u/ArmigerKnight [link] [comments]
