| What would you like to see in a future DMC game? Posted: 18 Mar 2020 03:38 PM PDT Well for starters... DMC6 is the most obvious option. Not the only one, though. I'd personally want Itsuno and the team to write up some story reason to revive Credo. Nero needs a Vergil to his Dante, and Nero vs Credo in DMC4 was that precisely, but it's a shame the character wasn't used to his best potential. I'd want the game to focus on a Nero/Credo rivalry the same way DMC3 did for the Sons of Sparda. Let Dante and Vergil still be playable, but not be as big of a focus in the story. Maybe this would lead to a future playable Credo even? The way I would do it is to have Dante and Vergil, while trying to figure out how to escape hell, run into Credo, who was now trapped in hell as punishment for his actions postmortem. The same happened for Agnus and Sanctus, but he got rid of them, for good this time. Let Credo help the twins escape, but come back to life fully as a result. Then mold him into the villain cause being in hell that long molded him into a true devil. The next option would be DMC: Origins, or something along those lines. Basically, play as Sparda, a character with a fully fleshed out moveset, as you try to defeat Mundus. Dante, Nero, and Vergil don't necessarily even have to be playable. I would have this game be not at $60, but $40. Less missions, akin to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in that sense. Sparda could use his own namesake sword, but have him use Rebellion to use some of Dante's moveset as well as Yamato for Vergil. Luce and Ombra would be there, as well as his own variant on summoned swords. In a sense, he would play as mesh between Dante and Vergil. And maybe, the devs can finally explain how he disappeared. Next, in the same vein as a Sparda solo game, how about DMC: Vergil's Awakening, a game not explaining how Vergil achievied Devil Trigger as the title would suggest, but rather a game explaining where this guy was inbetween DMC1 and DMC5. Explain how he escaped being Nelo Angelo, etc. Maybe give him a few weapons, including Nelo Angelo's Greatsword, for example. Lastly.. DmC: Devil May Cry 2 is always an option. I never played the reboot, so I can't elaborate on any ideas for it. Anyhow, where do you guys think the series should go? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 18 Mar 2020 07:32 PM PDT I've been getting back into DMC3 on the Switch and loving it, but just saved over my game with all Blorbs and with DMD unlocked, just because I was excited to play as Vergil, when I had 9 other save slots open. Trying not to get frustrated, what are people's feelings about Freestyle mode? I wish I could remove weapons (Nevan) from the wheel as an accidental button press interrupts combos as Dante stands still to strum a guitar. Might as well enjoy my Vergil playthrough, he's a very different and interesting playstyle. Does he gain Style faster than Dante, even with Freestyle mode? [link] [comments] | ||
