“You’re not the only one who thinks so...”

At the end of M7, V says this in response to Nero saying that he doesn't think V should go get the Sparda. It always stuck out as a weird line to me because of Nero's reaction, but then I had a thought: do you think that the line is supposed to be closer to "You're not the first person to think that," and this might be talking about Dante in DMC3? Vergil was essentially pursuing the Sparda, and the whole game is about Dante stopping him from getting it. So, was this line supposed to be a cheeky nod to V's past, or is it just in reference to Griffon telling him that he doesn't think it's a good idea to pursue the Sparda? Personally, I feel like the former makes more sense given Nero's reaction.

Last feature of DMC3 Switch confirmed as a reskinned ending for what would have been DmC2.

    Posted: 10 Feb 2020 07:02 PM PST

The final battle between Vergil and Dante in Hell will be reskinned with DmC Dante and DmC Vergil from the end of Vergil's downfall DLC.

A text summary will run the players through what would have been the plot for the sequel and you will get to play Dante's last fight against his brother. The background will also be reskinned so that DMC3 Dante and DMC3 Vergil's fight can retain most of its individuality. The fight mechanics will play the same except styles will be disabled, two dodge buttons will be added for the fight, and high time and helm breaker will be moved to circle. Lock on is also disabled for the fight.

Upon beating Vergil the credits will roll.

DMC Shower Thought. In 3 days (basically 2 now) DMC3 will be officially finalized as we know it.

    Posted: 10 Feb 2020 02:29 PM PST

This is the last 2 days that we will be able to speculate and wonder what they will officially add to the game lol.

As of right now we have no fucking clue what they will add next. What will it be, people?

    Imagine it's DmC costumes lmao

    Stuck on playable Vergil

    Posted: 10 Feb 2020 08:46 AM PST

Ok so I used the DMCV trainer to use playable Vergil but since the game got an update, the trainer is no longer compatible and I can't turn him off. I tried everything I could think of but I'm stuck with him. What do I do? Lmao
