    So I was interested In playing devil may cry since I saw my uncle dmc4 on the ps4 and I asked him about it, he told me to play 3 skip 2 and 1. I've played through a bit of three, skipped 2 and 1. But should I have played the other games to understand the story?

    Devil May Cry 6: Underwar

    One of the concepts that Madhouse's animated series added were the four Demon Kings fighting each other in the Underworld.

    So far we only know three of them, the Prince of Darkness Mundus from DMC1, Chaos and Despair Incarnate Argosax from DMC2, and the God of Evil Pluto mentioned in DMC1 and in the comic. That means that of four Kings we only defeated two, making a fourth that we do not know.

    Now that Dante and Vergil are in the Underworld, I think it would be the golden opportunity to see what this world is like beyond the previous locations that were basically pocket universe isolated from everything. And also seeing Sparda's children discovering more about his father and fighting the devil in the middle of a war.

    I would definitely play it
