Why can’t I use the royalguad in Hell and He’ll mode? Even I have the full DT bar, enemies just break my guard

Put one of my favorite Doom Eternal tracks over a Vergil fight; I think it fits really well as battle music for him

Genuinely curious, because the east LOVES their character action games.

DMC, Bayonetta, No More Heroes, MGR are all developed in Japan. And even stuff like China and Korea are getting more involved with the gaming industry with action games coming out like Lost Soul Aside and Project Eve

So has the west really tried anything yet? The OG God of War games are based off DMC mechanics with a unique twist but now they don't radiate that energy anymore. Has the west just not really tried anything for this type of stuff?

So I just want to play hack n slash games that reminds the dmc/bayonetta gameplay, I've tried both Nier games and Astral Chain and liked them, but I can't seem to find more games that are on this style of gameplay, just heard about Scarlet Nexus but it seems boring, do you guys have any to share?
