    Ever since I was a kid I had always wondered: In DMC:3, why are the streets so barren and empty? By that I mean devoid of human life, the setting is so grim, dirty, and filled with nothing but demons. Was Dante sent to a parallel, demon dimension that only he can see when Vergil summoned the Temple?

    Personally, I think Phantom's death (DMC 1) doesn't get anywhere near as much attention as it deserves. Phantom is surprisingly expressive for a ps2 spider, you can see the realization and shock on his face as he realizes that he's dealing with Sparda's bloodline. Also, Sparda showing up over Dante, combined with the music and the fact that this is the first time that we actually get a good look at Sparda gave me chills when I first saw it, I miss when Sparda felt like a fierce and feared demon, rather than a plot device.
