(Monster Hunter World) Whenever the DMC quests are in rotation I go and assist randoms. Sometimes the stars align just right. ((For context, the rando (Dante) felt bad for carting to Arch Tempered Teostra and I (Vergil) wanted him to know its alright.))

And yes someone will likely say "Nothing happened between 3 and 1."

That's kinda the point. We'd have one of the best Dante's back (young Dante), and Lady. The game could focus on those two characters (yes DMC4 Lady's gameplay is lacking but they could totally make her a great character. There is always a way.) and there is plenty of room for a fun plot and villains. There's a whole ten year gap right there, just like there's a ten year gap between DMC1 and 4.

What? DMC2? What the hell is that?

Anyway

They kinda fast forwarded through Dante's peak youth. Dante doesn't have to fight a Mundus tier opponent obviously since that's reserved for DMC1 and beyond. But they could totally make another young Dante game.

And guess what? Special Edition Vergil again baby. You know it'll happen. :p

I know DMC6 is a better idea, just wish we had an excuse to see younger Dante again.
