    Not exactly impressive stats, I know, but I'm so excited that my DMC journey has begun! Fuck nightmare 3, fuck Nero 3 - I thought both of them would end my run. As far as I'm concerned - I am the greatest!!

    I did it guys! First time beating DMC3 on Dante Must Die (a few thoughts about the DMD experience)

    That last fight with Vergil was one of the hardest, yet most gratifying, experiences in my gaming life. Took me over 300 tries, yet never got overly frustrating or disheartening due to how fair it was all the way through. That's more than what I can say about, for instance, half the boss fights in GoWIII Caos mode (although DMC3 isn't guilt-free in this regard, as we know... Fuck Arkham. Those tentacles still give me PTSD just thinking about it.)

    On the whole, this DMD playthrough has been a blast. Made me love this game even more, something that I didn't think was possible. I really liked how the enemy DTs completely changed the way I had to fight. Made me super aware of features I never really cared for much up until then (DT Flux, the enemies' HP circle, Nevan's many uses, etc.)

    Even the last fight with Vergil forced me to master tricks that I didn't really know or felt the need to learn during the run: only at about the 100th try did I start to appreciate how useful DT can be as a shield (activating it at the right time to decrease damage and stun from an incoming heavy attack).

    I'll end this with some advice for people who are struggling with Vergil:
    - save your DT for defense whenever you mess up and lose track of Dt'd Vergil; also helps a lot during Judgement Cut End.
    - That fight is an endurance test. Don't panic when he super DT's and you see his HP regening at a crazy pace. Don't rush, stick to your strategy.
    - When he's down to a onlya small chunk of HP and you get an opening for a combo, don't assume the fight is won! His life bar can be deceptive. I swear that, more than once, I've punched him after seeing the bar absolutely empty, and he still Dt'd right back and whooped me. Always assume it will take one more combo.

    i dont know if this is the right place and if its not please delete my post but

    i have frequent panic attacks when i feel terrified and like the world is ending

    but playing dante with unlimited sin DT is extremely comforting and for once i don't feel scared no matter what enemy or boss dante with is sin DT is always there for me
