I wonder how Vergil managed to outrun all the guys only with his katana blade

Is it just me, or is it humurous to anyone else that Cavaleire technically came from Trish?

I might be stupid but I've literally just realised the in-universe irony of dante getting a weaponised motorbike, from the demonised form of someone who attacked him with a motorcycle when they first met?

Just beat my first Devil May Cry game

    Posted: 13 Oct 2020 04:29 PM PDT

I've known about DMC for over a decade and always appreciated the style and spectacle of the series, but it always seemed so intimidating for new players to get into. After the trailer for the Vergil DLC, I decided I had been missing out long enough and bought DMC 5 to see through my first wacky woohoo pizza adventure.

This game is amazingly fun and really makes you feel like a badass with everything you do. It was a blast to try out the characters and experiment with the various combos and builds you lean in to. I can't wait to try out more of the series and play with Vergil when he releases.

Devil May Cry, you've got yourself a new fan!

got made redundant from work and finally bought DMC5 last week to keep myself occupied in the meantime. i'm not good by any means but I'm now playing through on SOS and honestly getting S rank these past couple missions has made me feel a whole lot less useless than I have been. love this game <3

If DMC6 comes, I hope the new city will be some sort of Cyberpunk Japan-like location

    Posted: 13 Oct 2020 05:51 PM PDT

I mean we've had just standard cities and while Red Grave City has screens on their buildings which have lights, we've never had something even more amazing such as a Cyberpunk Japan-like location with neon lights and something very modern and at nighttime would be great, rain pouring down and a beautiful scenery to go with it, maybe some pollution and acidic rivers because Nobodies have returned and now exist in the human world? I mean they are made from toxic gases after all so that would bring more of them.

However what do you all think about the idea? Should Capcom actually do this or do something entirely different? Because I hope there will be something like what I came up with especially with the neon lights but also the downpour and bad conditions in the city which would breed and summon more demons, a horrible-looking city help making more evil creatures.

    DMC1 Tail

    Posted: 13 Oct 2020 05:43 PM PDT

Dante's Tail in Alastor DT, did it get shorter in the HD collection?, or am I missing something, I distinctly remember it not being like only a foot long and being a lot longer does anyone know what happened to it?

What do you want in a DMC6? Bored, just want a fun discussion and spit-ball.

Spoiler tagged the post so people can speak freely in the comments

If Dante and Vergil are trapped in the Underworld, I wouldn't mind a game where it's Nero, Lady and Trish just doing normal jobs for Devil May Cry. Nothing world-ending, just a series of normal jobs. Maybe linked so it makes sense to have a main antagonist. After the events of 5 I think it makes sense to ease back on the severity of events rather than escalate them further. Otherwise we'll end up in a Fast and Furious situation.

I'd also like to meet a new Devil Hunter. Maybe a freelancer or owner of a rival business. Voiced by Troy Baker and wearing an outfit that looks like Lady Maria's awesome outfit from Bloodborne.
