    Yikes, DMC1 DMD was not easy. (What a shock)

    Being the dumb-dumb I was, I thought Dante Must Die in DMC1 wouldn't be that bad after a couple of clean-up playthroughs. (Blue Orb fragments, Secret Missions, stocking up on too many Yellow Orbs, the only thing I didn't really do was hoard items since I was feeling way too confident for my own good)

    Enemies having their own DT didn't really bother me too much and enemy layouts mostly remained the same from Hard, so I thought I'd rather go over the parts that actually gave me trouble, the bosses:

    • Phantom 1 was my wake-up call for realising how much health the bosses get in DMD compared to Normal and Hard. (Like 250% according to the wiki)

    • Griffon 2 & 3 were where I really started to die a lot. Fighting big bird on a ship with so little room isn't fun, and most of my deaths in his last fight were mainly due to me getting greedy.

    • At first, I couldn't see myself making it past the three Nightmare fights until I realised it can do different attacks depending on where you're facing it, and I just had to learn about its cores the hard way.

    • Nelo Angelo 3 destroyed me about as much as Griffon did, if not more. Summoned Sword PTSD all night for me.

    • FUCK MUNDUS. Bet you all saw that coming, didn't you?

    • Because I was dying that much to most of the bosses, I definitely had my fair share of D ranks.

    Having said all of that though, overcoming this difficulty made me feel so good and accomplished after it was all over. I am never underestimating DMD in any of these games again. Phew!

    Give this guy blue eye contacts, dye his hair, beard and eyebrows gray, give him a long sword, a red jacket and dual pistols, and you get Dante Sparda from Devil May Cry 4

    Can't buy DMC5 from PS Store?

    I don't know how good of a place this is to ask this but it seems DMC5 can't be bought on the ps store outside of the US. Any idea why? I can confirm from a friend it was normal a few days ago but it doesn't show a price and the option to buy now.

    Also I looked at some regions and it seems the regions where CE EUROPE LIMITED is the publisher are the ones that have the problem.

    I hope one day someone makes a music injector mod for DMC5

    With all these cool crazy mods coming out of the woodworks like Vergil, coop, and pvp, I would love to make my own custom soundtrack for the game. Something that could import and replace whatever audio format is required for the game. changing battle themes, boss themes, maybe even cutscene music if its possible.

    Hi there everyone, I can post now, it's been a few days since I made this account and hope that you will find some things interesting which I mostly shared on Tumblr or Twitter. Like I mentioned before, I love the lore of DMC and I mostly do translations, getting truly passionate about Devil May Cry since last year with the release of 5, although I knew the series for years so I had to go through a bunch of media to reacquaint myself with the series, discovering quite a lot of things.

    Hopefully through my posts you can also get to know some interesting stuff ^^ (Oh and sometimes I do occasional edits)

    Question about a specific Dante Combo.

    In this video at 2:12 you can see Dante slashing the enemy upwards, doing his sword combo midair and switching into the devil form at the end of it. https://youtu.be/BE1Vwy9bBj8?t=132

    Now I tried it and everytime I do the switch to the devil form the animation where the sword impales dante plays out.

    How did that player go into devil form so fluently?
