GameClip - Devil May Cry 1- Old amv from a TV channel.

    Posted: 20 Jun 2020 03:00 PM PDT

B ack in the day in Belgium and France, when Satellite decoders became widespread, you had a whole bunch of new TV channels.

In France there was one that was ONLY dedicated to Gaming and also a bit of scyfy shows and Anime, called Game One.

When the Channel started the few shows and hosts they had and the sets looked like something you would see from a Wayne's World kinda pirate set, it was EXTREMELY DIY, and it was part of the charm.

With time the channel became well knowed and hired more people and became a bit less "underground" and a bit more proffesional.

In the nigthtime when there was no Shows or Podcasts, they would pass for a few hours Musical clips, they would make these really bad ass montage Off games with a fitting music on it.

And they did one for DMC 1 when it came out, with Distrubed-The Game as music, and it fit just so well.

Found the clip on YT, the quality is on par with what was at the time, and i couldn't find any better version of it so, you'll have to deal with it.

How do you envision the next issues of Visions of V? What do you expect to see in V's POV?

    Posted: 20 Jun 2020 03:34 PM PDT

It'll only be a matter of time till V reunites himself with Urizen. Before the Nightmare part is almost finished. Is there anything you picture V saying in his mind, along with convos with Griffon?

    • Wonder what V will do while waiting for Nero in about a month?
    • V & his Familiars fighting off demons awaiting for Nero or searching for him
    • When V meets up with Nero to finish off Goliath and later meeting up with Nico, V admires Nico's tattoo: Eternity and expresses it's poem of William Blake. When Nico asks how V got his tattoos, he tells her that its a secret he'll share sometime later.
    • "He who desires but acts not breeds pestilence... so it is written" & Nidhogg
    • Passes Nero as he deals with Gilgamesh. Out of the underground, he learns about Sparda's sword from Malphas as they deal with Cavaliere Angelo & steed Elder Geryon
    • Nero & V split in the train station and meet up again until the Proto & Scudo Angelos show up. "Nice! Getting the band back together, huh?". Memories of Nelo Angelo resurface in V's mind after seeing the sight of them. "What evil lurks... I must destroy!"
    • After fighting the Angelos, V explains to Nero how he's seen the area they landed on was attacked once before. Memories of Vergil's childhood resurfaces. Later leaves Nero to look for the Sparda.
    • V & Griffon search for the Sparda sword. V sees a coffin or memorial site where Eva is. Memories of Eva resurface again. "You're awfully quiet, V. Thinking about mommy dearest?" "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't. But the past is... a bitter place for me."
    • V & Griffon find the Sparda with all the Nobodies dancing. They fight them off. V tries to wield Sparda but can't due to his frail body. That is until Shadow finds... "Dante!".
    • V & Griffon fly down to drag Dante's sleeping body out of the bones. They examine him finding out how Sparda sealed Dante's presence and how the Qliphoth blood did some work on him. V's anger slowly rises as memories of his defeat as Vergil consume him yet tries to get control. V tries to impale Dante with Sparda only for his eyes to open.
    • Dante is awake and V fills him in on the situation and what happened to Nero. Dante recalls how he used Sparda passed by Trish while against Urizen, but failed. It'll show then how he landed where V & him are now. "Can't let a boy... do a man's job!". V tries to stop him from leaving, but his body starts to slowly fall apart, which leaves him in fear. Griffon: This ain't good V! We're running out of time!
    • Unable to walk, Shadow assists for as long as he can for V as they try to catch up to Dante, only to see him ride on Cavaliere and leaving Trish behind. Griffon follows Dante, while V rests looking after Trish. When Trish wakes up, she asks V who Urizen really is. "Urizen is no ordinary demon. In fact, no demon has ever heard of him. It's like he just appeared. Oh my god! What are you then!?". That's when V reveals the truth of himself to her.
    • V reveals how he as Vergil survived from being freed of Mundus' control and later finding Nero with Yamato. "You need to see this through: Dante's war!"
    • Griffon follows Dante through every battle until he finds him at his old home. Dante pictures Vergil how he uses Yamato since it separates man from demon. Dante does the opposite as he unlocks his true power when he absorbs the Sparda. Sin Devil Trigger is revealed as he flies to rescue Nero.
    • Meanwhile Nero goes after Urizen for a rematch. But even with the new Devil Breakers and one single slash on Urizen wasn't enough. Sin DT Dante appears!
    • Sin Dante battles Urizen as Griffon flies Nero away safely. While battling V and Trish travel together to catch up with Dante, Nero and Lady. The Qliphoth starts to grow! "IT HAS BEGUN!"
    • The DMC crew get back together. Lady admires Dante's new look. V in though sees Dante's chances for success as a failure. V supports Nero's determination due to Dante's lack of faith and how Nero failed.
    • Nero, Dante & V fight together until a crevice causes the three to separate.
    • V starts to weaken even more. Malphas' magic knocks him out. V reunites with one of his Familiars.
    • V regains the other two and overhear Malphas. With no strength left and almost caused a sound, Nero comes to the rescue.
    • Nero fights Malphas and V throws him a Devil Breaker to fight back. After the fight, V begs Nero to take him to Urizen. V & Griffon speak telepathically while holding an evil grin.
    • While slowly trying to catch up with Dante, V had to reveal Urizen's true identity. "Urizen doesn't exist. That creature, you've all been fighting... isn't nothing but a man... who threw away his humanity, in an endless pursuit of power. He is Dante's older brother... his twin". Dante lands on the ground showing an illusion of their own home. V: "He has another name. His real name is..." Dante: "Vergil..."
    • Dante fights Urizen after he at the Qliphoth fruit. Nero remembers Dante mentioning him once and questions how they were brothers and why they're fighting each other. V answers about their past and how their different paths drove them apart after their mother's death. Dante impales Urizen with his sword. Visions of DMC3 with the brothers show during the fight.
    • Nero & V finally catch up to Dante who almost finishes the job. "Is that really your brother? I'm afraid so. So he was behind all this. Your own flesh & blood... the true owner of Yamato. Right again." V heads to Urizen tirelessly. V begs Dante to let him finish the final blow. As V gets on top of Urizen, they speak privately. As Nero & Dante watch, Dante begins to collect all the pieces together and starts to realize how they're actually.... Dante tries to stop V, but a pillar of blue light to starts to burst. V's clothes to blow away into dust along with the Familiar tattoos gone as he's floating in the air. As V's hair returns to full white, he explodes and reassembles himself into his true self. "Vergil!"
    • Vergil picks up "V's" book with memories for his love of literature resurface, along with the cane he used as V. Dante attacks Vergil as they both fight. But Vergil tells him to heal his wounds until he's ready. Vergil makes a portal as Nero remembers seeing the hooded man who took his arm did that trick before. Before Vergil left, he thanks Nero. Nero sees an illusion of V, yet confused. Vergil leaves after that. Nero questions Dante what happened and that both Vergil & V are the same person. Nero demands that he go after him after he took his arm, reclaiming Yamato in the process. He even blames Dante for letting him keep it as a "gift" in the first place. Dante tells Nero no still and yet is still angry with revenge. Dante had no choice but to reveal he was Vergil's flesh & blood.
    • Dante explains to Nero how he knew he was Vergil's kid since the first time they met, along with the second time they fought when Nero used Yamato. Dante then tells Nero that regardless how all this had happened, he was happy that Nero's a part of his life and tells him not to go regretting his actions. Meanwhile Vergil awaits for Dante up on the Qliphoth. Vergil looks at the cane as an illusion of V is beside him. He then throws the cane as Griffon catches it. Vergil uses his new power to create a chair to await for his brother's arrival.

Any of you guys try Sekiro? It’s not much like devil may cry however the blocking mechanic is essentially Royal guard. I’m just curious if any of my fellow RG users have played the game because personally I’m doing pretty damn good from RG’ing in 3-5 for the last year.

Cigarettes and the act of smoking them has been built up over the past 5 DMC games as the greatest threat in the world, so the main villain of DMC6 should just be a demon-powered CEO of Big Tobacco, kinda like Senator Armstrong at the end of Revengeance.

I just finished Devil May Cry 1-4 (SE) & 5.

    Posted: 19 Jun 2020 11:32 PM PDT

MAN! Is this game series bad-ass or what? Originally I wanted to start with the chronological order of play but my friends convinced me to take the release route and play each main installment after one another and it was definitely worth it!.

1 was good from my POV. Took some time to correctly remember all of the items and terms but it was fun and an eye opener as to what would come next. And I played all these games without doing research prior as I enjoy things fresh. The Phantom boss was probably the most annoying creature in the game as he appeared much more than I expected. Didn't expect to encounter the final boss multiple times though towards the ending.

2 Right off the bat, it felt odd/weird. I will admit, I did steer away from this game for a few days until I just said "screw it, I'll continue playing the game and finish it" which was around Mission 2. What kind of threw me off in the beginning was how when you'd use red orbs on an item, the price would automatically increase so that lead to more farming. Some of the bosses felt like odd inclusions such as the chopper and the second to last boss (the blob mix) but the battle against that had a killer tune to it. I wish Lucia played more roles in future DMC

3 Now this one a-lot of people hyped me up for and watching the first in game scene where Dante is battling all the demons in the office and enjoying pizza was pretty damn hype! This game from my perspective is truly what DMC should be. It was mad challenging and the bosses at times may have been easy but you should never let your guard down. Sure the game opted to change it to easy mode for me but I wasn't having it. Let me learn the pain and enjoy the thrill of Normal mode.(I was informed the the original DMC3 on PS2 had an error where the difficulty was set a notch two or higher in general).Watching the cutscenes with Dante toying with Cerberus and riding the rocket that Lady shot at him and the cutscene with Leviathan was wicked! The most salt inducing boss for me was probably Beowulf or Nevan. There were times where Arkham felt very tough to beat but it overall wasn't too bad. Vergil wasn't too hard for me surprisingly. It's funny, especially since the game glitched on me with the final and 3rd fight with Vergil and he somehow got stuck in place which lead to me getting free rocket launches to his face. It was also cool to find out who Lady is.

4 This was ALMOST the same as 2 for me in terms of delay I will admit. I played 5 and finished it then went back to 4. Nothing much to say about this game except that I didn't think much of Nero at first but I grew to like him later in the game as a character and most of the bosses were cool. My favorite boss to fight was Bael due to the cool ice arena and the hardest boss for me was Echidna believe it or not (4 tries but that was on mission 19. Surprised I couldn't grab her and toss her like the other enemies). Also having not too large of a health bar proved tough for Agnus on mission 19 as well. I do wonder though? Kyrie... what was the point to her character? Was she a damsel in distress? Nice little mini-mission thing in the ending where Nero has to protect Kyrie from the demons.

I do wish that they didn't give the enemy handicap after so many tries though or they could have made that optional and not forced it.

5 The only things I have to say about this game are the following: |Amazing graphics | Not too fond of V | Wasn't fond of the nearly un-winnable battles against Urizen | Lady is hot| I wonder when we'll get a clear make-up w/ Nero and Vergil or at least a sit down talk/meeting. | The use of red orbs for continue instead of having to redo the entire mission was interesting | Vergil was the toughest he's ever been since 3. Thank goodness for the random gold orbs.

One thing that I didn't like in general with 3-4 was having to re-fight some of the bosses in a string but it gets better with time. More of a "you must learn their strategy to defeat them and perfect it!" I guess?
