    This drinking game will probably get you absolutely shithammered if you are as bad at DMC3 as myself, so I will advise you all to please drink responsibly and please do not drink if you are underage or are going to operate a motor vehicle. Drinking and driving is reckless and stupid, so please don't do it. I asked mods to make sure it was ok, but none of them responded, so if they want to take it down, I understand.

    With all that out of the way, let's get to the rules:

    Take a shot:

    1. Every time your combo ends with Dope! (you can raise this if you're a true gamer girl/just want more of a challenge)
    2. Any time pizza is eaten
    3. You achieve a C rank or below in a level (3rd verse same as the first)
    4. Any time Dante dies in gameplay or is impaled in a cutscene
    5. Whenever someone drives recklessly on a motorcycle
    6. Whenever Vergil talks about needing the amulets/more power

    Honestly, getting an S rank on the missions is hard enough already, but I think that the most bothersome issue is going through the menus over and over as you try to get S-ranks. I would say that if someone selects "restart mission", they are most probably wanting to restart from the earliest playing segment already, not at the cutscene before the menu to actually start the mission. Almost every menu screen has a relatively long loading time, and it is just so annoying to restart missions. In mission 12 for instance, the first fight is the main obstacle for the S rank, but it just takes soooo long to restart the mission, it takes minutes just to get into that first fight again. They could have easily solved this with some patch... why haven't they thought of this?

    Also, the final trophy (getting an S-rank in all missions in all modes) is just bullshit. Like, you will probably get most trophies as you complete the game, but this one will actually make you struggle for weeks afterwards! And it's not really fun to play at that point, you end up playing the same missions and the same fights over and over. I don't believe it should be a requirement to get S-ranks in all Hell or Hell missions, that mode is just annoying and it doesn't really reflect on a player skill level, I assume most people just cheese through it with some gimmick as I did; which still takes awfully long.

    And well, that's my rant for the day. I am still glad I got the trophy, but I'm just so annoyed and done with the game already.

    Context Sensitive/Boss Taunts

    If capcom makes a new DMC game, whenever or if that would happen, I think they should make some taunts context sensitive.

    A great example would be for bosses, they can make the character's, either Nero or Dante, taunt be based on who they're fighting when using it on a higher style rank like S+.

    If they're fighting Goliath, the taunt could be how he eats trash on the floor or they're going to shut his large belly mouth up.

    If they're fighting Urizen, they could comment how lazy he is or how sitting down while fighting isn't very polite.

    Or if they're fighting a group, the taunt used could be like Nero's "Which one want's to play?", and if there's only 1 demon left the taunt could be like Nero's "Shall we dance?"

    This taunt system could really make taunts much more engaging and more fun to do and won't be used just to up the rank system.

    Thoughts?

    I have been opening the game countless times but it still won't go pass the title and it would start crashing. It would just say "the GPU will not respond to more command, most likely because of an invalid command passed by calling application."

    Here are the specs of my laptop:

    Windows 10, Intel Core i5-8250U, Intel UHD Graphics 620, 8GB RAM

    I tried changing the TargetPlatform to dx11 in dmc5config but it still won't open. Is there still hope for this ://

    So I beat DMC5 - random thoughts and questions

    First of all, it was amazing from start to finish. V is a bit weird to play as but nothing really felt frustrating or bad, and even with V I actually enjoyed the Geryon Knight and the 3 boss thing in M14. The frequency of checkpoints that allow you to suspend missions and skipping over item use to directly ask you how you want to deal with defeat go a long way in reducing frustration I think. The fully moveable camera and floaty jumps/dodges make life easier too.

    King Cerberus actually made me really erect. Both the boss and the weapon but mostly the weapon. My favourite DMC3 weapon now has air hike, 2 extra elements and a whole new SM moveset? Motivates the hell out of me. I know people love Balrog and the ability to slice into demons with a motorbike but these nunchucks really did something for me.

    Did anyone else immediately switch Nero's Devil Trigger and Break Away? I feel like it's illegal for DT to not be on L1, and it messed me up on SoS M1 trying to use my new fuck you abilities.

    Now for some questions if you're still reading:

    1. Is it better to fluke your way through higher difficulties or to perfect ones you've beaten before moving on?

    2. Do V's forward/back attacks depend on his direction or his demons'? I couldn't really figure it out.

    3. Do Bloody Palace stages have explicit difficulty levels? Like stage 1 has Human enemies and the top floor has a DMD Vergil?

    4. Is your BP rank determined by your style points as normal? Would that mean trying to kill enemies too quick is bad for your score?

    I have an idea for how the Artemis gun would return in a future game

    So we know the gun Artemis was destroyed and Urizen used the jewel in it to power the demon boss which later ended up cracked/broken and Nico takes it with her to eventually use to power Buster Arm and Tomboy, I only studied BA and figured out she takes a shard from this gem to stick it in that metal pole because this behaves like a Star Wars Light Whip but not Tomboy, only explanation I can think of is that is an entire jewel or huge chunk is connected to the rest of the weapon. However the reason the jewel has plenty of material left for both arms is the same way Ragtime can somehow be recreated regardless of Nico saying she can't produce any more of these Breakers, the Divinity Statue copies the jewel so that's where the next part of my idea comes in.

    Because there's many copies of the jewel so it can be used for Devil Breakers and something unrelated to cybernetics while Nico praises the work of the Demon World Gunsmith Machiavelli, I believe this replicated crystalline object could be used to power Artemis 2 but it's in her image. Would it work the same? Yes because it's the same weapon which fires arrows with power from the gem but because this gem was chipped/broken, it's weaker and because it's Nico's own design, it's going to look different and I believe a floral design is what she'd go for. She looks up to her grandmother and I'm sure the creator of the original Artemis so she'd obviously want to make it in memory of the late Gunsmith while adding her own style to it. Nico would also not steal the design and ruining the memory so it's going to have to be named Artemis 2 just like Kalina Ann 2 was made to not be a copy of Lady's beloved gun.

    Alternatively, I thought of an Artemis Modification which recreates those plant-like objects that the boss uses then attached to the end of Nero's Blue Rose while possibly attaching to components of it such as fibers forming at the trigger and changing it to look like a new gun which these petals can close, open up, spin around and act like a living, demonic machine and the same gun of the same name. This can also add variety to his beloved, dependable gun so he doesn't have to possess a new Gun that many fans believe will be too much for his arsenal but if it's interchangeable, this would give him a new form of laser combat without the need of Gerbera but Capcom would find a way to make it more unique and creative, especially as far as to make some entirely new design so I'm accepting to see it become something else, might be bummed my idea wasn't used but I know regardless, they still made something great and original.

    Now that's all I have to say so any thoughts on this? I know fans want to play with the gun especially me because it was a great weapon to use in 3, felt like I had enough protection in the scary world and safe with it so why not? Also since this is Nico we're talking about who wants to prove others wrong and something was left from the boss instead of it withering away without anything left to take from, it's possible to get it back in the future but obviously it won't be the same one we remembered.
