    I just found out about this franchise and would really like to give it a try. So looking up online and trying to find some sort of timeline or order to play games in I thought I would ask here, as you people will surely know what advice to give me. I want to try all of it, from the first game to this last one. I only have a pc, hopefully all the games are playable on it. So just tell me the order to play games in. Thanks!

    i had a dream that nico was playable in special edition.

    It was the strangest damned dream, in it nico was playable and she basically had a "gunslinger on cocaine" moveset that focused heavily on gun-based combos, she had inverse rainstorm, rainstorm, richoshot, every charge shot imaginable, could use every type of gun in the franchise but more effectively than dante or nero, and her devil trigger was a screen-clearing aoe where she summoned her van and did donuts, and the more you pressed the attack button, the longer and more damaging the donut wheelies were.

    It was the strangest, coolest dream i ever had. it was like playable lady in 4se, but with way more flexibility and over the top craziness. i distinctly remember her being able to use kalina ann's multi-rocket attack in mid-air to sustain a juggle, and pretty much all of her gunslinger attacks were just better, more fun versions of dante's and lady's.

    Should Trish get a proper boss fight someday?

    It seems like her time is kinda past by now but damn it I still want a proper Trish fight.

    My biggest complaint with 1 was how Trish as an enemy was handled. She attacks from offscreen during Nightmare 3. What a waste of a potential boss fight.

    Lady was able to put up a good fight so Trish should too. She would've been fighting a stronger Dante but she herself isnt human.

    Then in 4 we had Gloria. I would've settled for eith Trish herself or in disguise as Gloria for a boss fight. But we get neither.

    5 finally gave Trish a boss fight as Cavaliere Angelo. His moveset seems heavily inspired by Trish, just a much bulkier take on her lightning and sword style. But we still havent got a proper fight against Trish.

    Also side note, just going back to pre-release speculation, would anyone have had a problem if Cavaliere Angelo was Alastor possessing Trish and simply got fused with a bike for Dante's new weapon? Lady and Artemis makes sense but so does Trish and Alastor.

    I'm playing dcm 5 right now. How much do you recommend me to play the four dante dmc games? And how much do you recommend me to play the soft reboot dmc?
