Where can I find the offical extended mix of the Devil's Never Cry battle theme? (DMC5 variant)

DMC5 did it the best imo and I can't find a single upload of this extended version.

How do I play this game so I don't feel like I'm just mashing triangle over and over?

    Posted: 06 Nov 2019 03:30 PM PST

First DMC game. I'm liking it so far OK, but don't really feel like I'm playing it correctly, and the game can't be bothered to teach. I just beat mission 8 if that gives you an idea of where I'm at.

I feel like I just keep doing the same few things over and over again. I've got: either use the R1+circle thing to get close or the R1+forward+triangle thing to lunge at them. I pretty much always start with one of these to close the distance. Then I've got a few variations of mashing triangle at varying timings for "combos". Sometimes I launch an enemy in the air and then jump and do one of the air moves.

And...that's about it. The gun feels fairly worthless. I admit, I'm probably too conservative with the arms, but I use them occasionally when the enemies are bigger.

    Mechanics through the Ages

    Posted: 06 Nov 2019 03:35 PM PST

I tried looking through posts on here, and while there was some breakdown for 5 and wants for Nero in the future, I didn't really see any discussions on mechanics throughout the games.

I am not a good DMC player overall. I can weasel out some S ranks for most all missions and difficulties in each game, but it takes some effort cause I have never wrapped my head around various mechanics. I personally found 3 and DmC to be the easiest to play and do well in. I'm telling you all this as a disclosure that I don't have a lot of input to give... BUT I am curious to know what the community thinks about:

What mechanics did you like most from the series as a whole? What mechanics would you tweak? Which would you remove or what you like to add?

As a side bit, I think 5 could've been better if each character had been given 20 chapters so you could've played through with one character in a more "complete" manner. We could get a good handle on their gameplay and allowed sections of the story (specifically V's) to be flushed out more. I bring this up as I feel both Nero and (as little as it matters) V could've been mechanically expanded quite a bit.
