Imagine it! You got to raise your stats by doing "mundane" things like going out for Pizza, feeding the orphans, and murdering demons together. Then you have "Father/Son" activities where you got to talk slowly warm up to your son, and of course certain open responses would be locked until you worked your stats up. You can't just tell Nero about his mother if you haven't leveled up your Humility Stat! Even a few events where you have to hang with Kyrie and practice shouting her name!

I would play the crap out of this.

That's what was so rad about Rebellion. It was still a huge sword giving it the distinct difference from Vergil's Yamato, but it still seemed so agile and stylish in Dante's hands. DSD just seems so bulky for Dante's default weapon. If they would just slim it down to be a bit more comparable to Rebellion in width I think it'd look way better in gameplay. What says the rest of the fan base?
