i havent touched dmc5 in awhile been kinda distracted with iceborne so i jumped back on to dmc5 today to just play some bloody palace and can i just say that everytime i play this game its like im playing it for the first time again , this game imo one of the greatest games of all time easily, its probably (and im quoting gamingbrit here) the most gamey ass game ive ever played, it gives me such joy how much creativity this game offers, its clearly the best dmc imo like the other games are no contest compared to this one and i loved the fuck out of 3 and 4 lol , played 4SE bloody palace religiously for crying out loud, thats all i wanted to say, but ya this game gives me that warm happy feeling everytime , also this easily my favorite sub you guys are hilarious lol

In fact, out of all the games nominated, only RE2 and Sekiro have a 'slightly' higher metacritic, 89 vs 90 for instance. Even Control, a game that runs at 20 fps on consoles somehow got nominated.

And it looks like they are getting shit for it on twitter. Here are the nominees:
