    Do you consider V to be Vergil?

    I don't. I see V as his own individual.

    To borrow from Kingdom Hearts lore, he seems like a Nobody: someone born in another's death, who shares their memories and their motives, but is ultimately their own individual.

    I've seen some compelling arguments to say that he's just Vergil. However, he seems too relaxed and playful and human to be Vergil to me.

    With the Dmc anime being made for Netflix, recently gotten info that the main characters will be Dante and Vergil. And idk if its going to be the furthest in the timeliness or not but I just have a thought. If Vergil is going to be a protagonist, that's gonna be really weird.

    Like in all the iterations of Vergil we've meet, he's been someone we've had to fight and a big threat, not to mention that we spend such fleeting moments with him. But the idea that he's gonna have a leading role its kinda blowing my mind right now.
