Does anyone know how to lower the mission 9 bridge for the first time playing and I don't know what to do

So uh, what happens to their clothes when they use devil trigger?

    Posted: 18 Oct 2021 01:16 PM PDT

Dante, Vergil, Nero. Pretty stupid question but I was just thinking about it because Dante's base dmc5 devil trigger looks like it's replicating his coat.

    Which move looks worse?

    Posted: 18 Oct 2021 03:54 PM PDT

the worst thing about the absence of alternate costume...

    Posted: 18 Oct 2021 03:25 PM PDT

... is that they litteraly already have alternate model for all character that would make great alternate costume, if they wanted to, like nero with his devil bringer, v shirtless, corrupt vergil... Make them accessible just like clean short hair dante is accessible, with the press of all 4 trigger button, and everyone would be happy... Including those 3d modelers that had to model them and rig them for the cutscenes....

How would you rank the missions from DMC1?

    Posted: 18 Oct 2021 04:24 PM PDT

    Here's mine:

    • 23- Holding the Key of Ardor (M7): Pretty pointless mission.
    • 22- Abyss (M13): Underwater level. Pretty lame and can be completed in less than 1 minute.
    • 21- Guiding of the Soul (M5): The shadow fight is what puts it above the previous two.
    • 20- Fate (M11): Pretty tame Nelo Angelo fight.
    • 19- Deep Darkness & Towering Mountains (M14): It has some nice scenery, but nothing else.
    • 18- Evil of the Waterways (M6): Damn you death scissor!
    • 17- Ghost Ship (M12): Worst. Boss fight. In the entire game.
    • 16- Canyon of Mist (M10): It has a decent puzzle going for it.
    • 15- Spirit Stone, Elixir (M18): I don't remember much from this mission besides Nightmare 2.
    • 14- Enter the Corrupted World (M19): NGL, the travel to hell was really fun.
    • 13- Judge of Death (M2): We get Alastor. Don't have much else to say about this one.
    • 12- Curse of the Bloody Puppets (M1): A great introduction to the game. Also, SLOW DOWN BABE.
    • 11- Living Cave (M21): This one feels like a weird interlude between Nightmare 3 and Mundus. It's not bad, it just doesn't have much going for it.
    • 10- Mother's Guide (M23): A satisfying ending to the game. Mundus 3 could have been better, but the cutscenes and the emotional value more than made up for it.
    • 9- Wheel of Destiny (M15): Great send off to Griffon.
    • 8- The Legendary Dark Knight Returns (M8): While not as great as the previous fight, Phantom 2 is still fun.
    • 7- Parted Memento (M17): Arguably the darkest mission in the game simply because of the implications about Vergil's fate. Pretty tense boss fight too. Also, the Sparda is freaking great.
    • 6- Showdown with Nightmare (M20): The boss isn't that great, though I really liked the cutscenes, so it gets points for that.
    • 5- Nightmare of Darkness (M16): It took me quite some time to beat this bastard. Still dope.
    • 4- Legendary Battle (M22): From a design perspective, this is easily one of the worst in the game. From a story perspective though, this one takes the cake. Also, beating Mundus is easily one of the most gratifying things in the franchise for me.
    • 3- New Strength (M9): Ifrit and Griffon 1. Enough said.
    • 2- Destroyer of Ardor (M3): Boy o boy, Phantom posed a genuine challenge that made me rethink my "rushing in blind" strategy. Pretty iconic.
    • 1- Black Knight (M4): As great as Phantom was, Nelo Angelo 1 was even more dangerous, and I died multiple times before I finally managed to beat him. The secret mission is mildly fun. Phantom chases you through the hallway and you can beat him again. Shadow is a fun non-boss fight (though I hate the "The Three Beasts" secret mission with all of my soul). A complete package of a mission.
