When I compared both versions of the reports, some of them contained unique information in each language. I also noted that in the English versions, Nico sounds more...sassy? I do like her sassy attituded and I would say that it's more emphasized in the English versions.
The reports also include the ones from the Special Edition.

Translation from Japanese:
"The son of the legendary dark knight Sparda and a devil hunter who is pretty legendary himself.
Taking on a request from a guy named V, apparently he paid a visit to the Demon World in order to defeat the Demon King, the one who stole Yamato from Nero...
It was quite unexpected to hear that Dante got his ass kicked!
Such a pity, I would have liked to meet the guy..."
While for the most part, both versions convey the same ideas, in the last part there is a difference, in the Japanese version, Nico expressed that she wanted to meet Dante which is not conveyed in the English version.
The part "Just goes to show there ain't no such thing as the perfect man" isn't conveyed in Japanese.

Translation from Japanese:
"I knew that he ain't the type of guy to die so easily, but…
Holy Moly! He absorbed both Rebellion and Sparda and made a comeback with renewed power! Legendary dudes are on a whole 'nother level!
I heard that has been asleep for a month following his defeat by the Demon King and during that time, for some reason, the Qliphoth kept feeding him with demonic power by force. 'Cause of that, his body recovered beyond its limits and it seems that it also made his hair and beard grow out."
Pretty much the same meanings but in Japanese we are told that the Qliphoth fed Dante demonic power "forcibly", thus an alternative translation would be "force-feeding", which, at least in my opinion gives the idea that Dante (recall that the tree considered him and Urizen the same) could have fought back the Qliphoth roots, but ultimately he was too weakened. Maybe I read too much into it ;;

Translation from Japanese:
"This is Dante's form when he unleashes his demonic power. Although only half of his blood is demonic, that blood comes from Sparda. If he unleashes his powers, ordinary demons don't stand a chance against this guy.
In addition to the increase of raw strength and speed, he is also capable of self-recovery.
I'd say it's a form that's suitable not just for offense, but also for defense."
Okay, so what I meant by "self-recovery", I believe it's referring to his healing factor.

Translation from Japanese:
"With the two swords that he absorbed, Dante awakened his true form. The amount of time he can stay in this form is pretty short, however, he's able to display immense power.
Having absorbed more than the power of Sparda, it might not be an exaggeration to say that he might have surpassed Sparda."

Translation from Japanese:
"If you were to make an enemy of Dante…I reckon that no one will survive if they are targeted by the legendary devil hunter.
The many techniques he unleashes with various Devil Arms are relentless.
He also fully mastered Goldstein's Devil Arms.
The only one that can be a match for Dante is his big bro Vergil apparently.
So? Think you got what it takes to beat Dante?"
First of all, Nico sounded more savage in my opinion, like "If you are targeted by Dante, you'll most likely be dead." Let me know your opinions about this part because it's weird. So, when I read the Japanese version I was like "What the heck? Goldstein's DEVIL ARMS? Made by Nell? Uhm...she did regular firearms…" It's weird because in Japanese it didn't say something like guns, firearms, which are the weapons that the GUNSMITH Nell Goldstein made, no, it said Devil Arms 魔具
In the English version, it says:
"I reckon Dante's shot, fired or thrown just about everything grandma's cooked up over the years an' he's gotten pretty good at it too".
So if the idea was that Nico was talking about her grandmother, it sounds awkward in Japanese because she doesn't say something like "my grandma" which is 祖母 (sobo) and she said in the game or ばあちゃん (baachan) when Dante showed her Ebony and Ivory. It just says Goldstein, like not even saying "Nell", as if...she is talking about a brand. The Goldstein Devil Arms... My only explanation is that in the Japanese version there was a mistake using the word 魔具 (Devil Arms) instead of something like 武器 (buki) meaning "weapons; arms".
Oh yeah, the reason why I bolded the word here "So? Think you got what it takes to beat Dante?" is because literally, the translation would be "if it's you." If Nico is also addressing Nero in the Japanese version (she doesn't say "your daddy" like in English, thus you could understand that she might be addressing the readers), by saying "if it's you" she is asking "given your abilities do you believe you can beat Dante?"

Translation from Japanese:
"Let's say that even if you manage to overcome Dante's various attacks, victory is still far away. When he unleashes his demonic power, on top of strengthening his offense and defense, he can also regenerate his health.
If ya still have some hidden power, then don't hesitate and release it. This ain't an opponent that you can beat if you're being stingy!"

My translation:
"A true showdown is to have a confrontation of true power and for that, Vergil and Dante unleash their true demon forms.
It will be a clash between their demonic and human powers.
It's also very interesting as a battle between demon swords.
The Devil Sword Dante that combines man and demon, and Yamato, it's opposite, that separates man from demon.
If they cross blades in their true forms, you could say that it's also like a showdown between demon swords." The way the swords were described, it used the word 同士 (doushi) which means "comrade" and it can also have the meaning of brethren.
Vergil reports.

The localization is okay for this one but I have an interpretation for the second sentence. In the Japanese version, it's ambiguous. I can understand it as "After loosing to/being defeated by Dante, he fell in the Demon World."
To me at least, the English version sounds like it's saying that it was Dante threw him in the Demon World, but we know that it was Vergil who chose to go there.
Nico heard it from Lady, but it could be that Lady didn't knew what happened, that it wasn't by Dante's hand that Vergil was thrown in the Demon World, she just assumed that's what he did. So yeah, just saying, it's ambiguous in Japanese.

In the Japanese version, Nico doesn't call him something like "weird bastard". The rest of the localization is okay but the last sentence...The attitude is quite different.
Compare: "...Bwahaha! The look on your face. What a bunch of corny crap" with "It's ironic." That's what she says in the Japanese version following "What he cast aside in his quest for strength turned out to be the most important thing of all."
So yeah, in the English version they put more emphasis on her being a wisecrack.
The localization for his Sin Devil Trigger is alright, thus, it's not included.

In the Japanese version it says: "Apparently Vergil fights using the art of Iai 居合 (Iaido). His well-honed movements leave no room for openings." (with the meaning of opportunity, as in not letting an opponent have the chance to strike, hope I explained well enough ;;
The term "iai" has been used before to describe Vergil's fighting style but I don't believe English materials used the word.
V (Divided)-this report is okay, so I didn't include it.

"Doppelgangers ain't nothing new. People been trying to make them things using magic for years. Vergil, on the other hand, just cuts the suckers out of thin air." This is not in the Japanese version.
There is an official localization for a text that talks about Doppelganger in DMC5 and it's called "shadow" which is alright. In the English version we have "Devil Clone" and in Japanese it's 分身・閻魔刀魔人 (Bunshin Yamato Majin). 分身 means other self; alter ego; part of oneself. So, like I said the explanation in the beginning from the English version is not in the Japanese one.
It says "An alter-ego made of demonic energy that Vergil creates with the power of Yamato."
ENG: "The shape's supposed to be a reflection of his true form, which... Let's just say I like his human form more."
JPN (translation) "Because it copies the true form of the master, it represents the true devil form with Yamato stored in its hands."
Nico, you consider Mr. Vergil handsome? xD Same here! Regarding the last part, the localization is alright.

I gotta admit, there's something funny written here. "If Nero's thinking about a family reunion, I better get busy making him some new Devil Breakers."
In Japanese it says:
"I'll have to make new Devil Breakers for Nero if he wants a rematch with him."
Family reunion and rematch. Fighting is what the Spardas do when they have a family reunion!
