    Is it really that rare?

    I recently bought DMC5 because it was on sale on steam and I was streaming my initial gameplay to my friend who's been playing for 3 months.

    I got to the first fight with goliath (referred to as hairy man) and I was able to beat him on my first try and my friend was completely shocked after he only gave me the tip of go behind him and don't get sucked into the fire.

    He said that beating goliath first try was unheard of and his cousin had thought I was cheating.

    EDIT: This is my first ever Devil May Cry game and is on Devil Hunter difficulty

    So far my best run against DMD Cavaliere Angelo, as someone who is new to the DMC series, I am happy with this run, messed up near the end tho with failing to do World of V.

    Just finished DMC3SE(Switch) on hard, Jesus Vergil is OP

    So in like the last week or so, I decided to pick up DMC3 again and play through it with Vergil. And since I was at it, I did on Hard. Initially pretty alright, nothing to scream about it. Until bosses like Beowulf, Cerberus, Nevan, Arkham and every Vergil fight were just gone. Like Jesus Vergil, you're destroying everyone. Once I got enough of his moveset and understood it, everything just gets decimated. Like I did Arkham in one go and Vergil 3 in one go. Dude took me two to three hours on NORMAL.

    TL;DR DMC3 Vergil stupid OP

    It disables Vergil's Combat AI completely till the next phase, and I couldn't replicate it again.

    Are there some unwritten rules on how to perform Judgement Cut End in DMC5?

    I do it flawlessly in Void as a practice but for some reason can't during missions. My concentration is lvl 2 and have full SDT (sometimes even in SDT).

    Asking cuz i need more hack n slash games on Switch (yes, i'm port whoring.) So i have more fun on long trips. (I travel with family alot, and DMC 1 and 3 and Bayonetta 2 gets old after a few hours, and only DMC3 has Vergil without all his 4SE goodies.)

    Who else would kill for this on Switch?

    Can I ask for a DMC 5SE save file on this sub? I accidentally deleted the folder containing mine a few days ago.

    I had pretty much everything finished and unlocked, although I never earned enough cash to unlock the EX Provocations. I don't even mind if your save file isn't yet "finished"; I just want to get back into DMD without having to grind through two difficulty levels beforehand. Thanks in advance.

    What's a good place to start?

    I've been wanting to get into DMC, particularly had my eye on 5 for quite a bit, but I'm afraid I suck fat trash at vifeogames (plus I have shaky as shit hands) and likely won't be able to pull off many combos.

    If DMC tells more of an anthology type of narrative, which game is the best for newcomers? If the whole series tells an interconnected story, what are some tips on how to play the game(s) well? It is my understanding that the first three are on Switch and I'd probably have to get 4 and 5 on PS4/5, yes?

    Vergil Secret missions aren’t spawning

    I'm playing hell and hell mode with Vergil and while I'm at it I thought to complete all secret missions but they're not spawning at all, is it the difficulty? Or PlayStation
