    Happy I gave DMC3 a chance

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 01:49 PM PDT

I've been trying to play the older games in the series and I decided to start at first release with DMC but I struggled with the game and the controls. Bought DMC2 and played for a bit and holy crap I'm not interested anymore. I had really low hopes for DMC3 but there was a good deal on Switch. I sat on the game awhile, but decided to play after like a month and once I started I felt that good old DMC4 and DMC5 gameplay feel. Weirdly I think I like DMC3 Dante the most although DMC4 has very cool artistic design and DMC5 has the best feeling.

Now, I'm only a few missions away from actually beating the game as Dante and I wanted to ask a few things about Vergil's part:

    1. Is it a different story/locations? (I ask because in DMC4 and DMC5 the dlc characters do the same mission line up)

    2. Does he feel good to play?

    3. Is he fundamentally different from Dante? Gameplay wise.

I can see how we got the gems DMC4 and DMC5 and all the hype behind the 3rd installment. This series keeps amazing me.

    Did Dante know V's secret?

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 04:41 PM PDT

    I can't figure it out.

He knew what the Yamato could do and he willingly let V move forward to kill Urizen; but he didn't seem to realise until the last moment the danger of doing so.

    Vergil vs Half-Vergil; True Power

What is your favorite thing about Devil may cry?

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 02:09 PM PDT

One thing I don’t like about DmC is that the Yamato looks so lame. It literally looks like an eBay toy sword. Where as the real Yamato looks badass and like an actual dangerous weapon

Alright, I really don’t get Style Points.

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 12:13 PM PDT

I know how they are calculated, so it's not that, but I can have a near constant SS-SSS rank, no damage, and I only get 6,700, but in times where I performed worse, I get more style points. I'm just really confused, as I don't feel like style points are actually grading my performance, so is there something I'm not getting, or do style points really just make no sense?

    Recommended controls

    Posted: 28 Jul 2021 04:52 PM PDT

Devil may cry 5 has been my first devil may cry expert ever, and I've enjoyed every second of it! I've been practicing with guides and some techniques seem pretty difficult with defaulr controls, so I would thank if anyone shared any recommendations for my controls, I play on ps4 btw.

(Sorry if I had bad english, it's not my native language)

    I think my Vergil is a bit too motivated . . .

First fight I’ve posted in awhile, I hope you guys like this one. I was able to no damage Malphas with Vergil on Dante Must Die, and, I have to say, I had a pretty fun battle!!!
