If you were your own DMC character to join the cast, what will be your signature sword? Posted: 08 May 2021 12:48 PM PDT Dante's sword is a magic sword which later evolved from Rebellion to Devil Sword Dante. Vergil's sword Yamato is a katana as he's trained in the art of iaijutsu/iaido. Nero's sword is a special case as it's customized into something like a motorcycle. Let's say you were to wield a sword. What kind fits you? If it's a Chinese sword like a Dao or Jian, you'd show off some Chinese kung fu moves like Xianghua, Hwang and/Yun-seong from Soulcalibur. If a rapier you be an extraordinary fencer like Raphael & Amy. Perhaps with a katar/jamadhar, you'd go like Voldo & Rain from MK. Like Siegfried & Nightmare, you'd wield a zweihander - two-handed sword. A scimitar? Hookswords? Like Kabal. Double saber like Darth Maul & Groh? A khopesh? If you make custom swords like Nero say.... A chainsaw-like sword A sword where it acts like a needle, extracting a demon's essence and using its power against them. DMC5 files got corrupted :/ Posted: 08 May 2021 05:58 PM PDT Anyone willing to swing me some motivation? Especially now that I'm starting the ENTIRE game over after unlocking all the way up to hell & hell on vergil & dmd with nero & the others. I'm doing my best to get the files on to a USB no luck so far since it's saying there is no USB connected. I honestly don't got any spares funds to buy a new USB yet either or anyone in my personal life that can give me one really so I'm kinda left to play it from scratch now. I might keep playing the prologue & beating it to unlock the modes but I was & still am working on my mechanics with all the characters to get s rank on all missions since I do enjoy the game quite a bit considering it's basically the only game I play for the most part. Still it's not like I asked for this my PS4 randomly cut off in the middle of me booting up the game like I usually do, after I started it up earlier today with no issues. I'm grateful I didn't rush to conquer that platinum trophy however as a Vergil main I'm mostly not looking forward to playing as V at all, not due to his gameplay mainly that I'm aware at how much time this is gonna take to get the same missions s ranked (I don't really enjoy the gilgamesh & nidhogg bosses) submitted by /u/kurokabane [link] [comments]

How deadly do you think Nightmare would be if it could think for itself? Posted: 08 May 2021 05:53 PM PDT As you might know, Nightmare is a weapon that follows its masters orders, but what would happen if Nightmare gained sentience and thought for itself and how dangerous would it be? I think it could be very chaotic, it's stated that Nightmare has the power to take over the demon world within days and Mundus himself feared it. The only way you can damage it is by attacking its core. So I think Nightmare would take over the demon world and gain more power and then eventually die to Dante/Vergil. Got to mission 10 and was blown away by the sheer amount of output necessary to make Dante work.
