    Best Boss in DMC1

    I'm doing a series of boss polls to see which is the best Boss in the series. Starting with the first game to the the most recent I will be polling 6 of the best bosses in the game based on the general consesus and a but of my own personal opinion but it's meant to be overall the best choices given. Since there are 6 games it works out there this should be easy and starting with DMC1 it's very easy since the game has like 5 bosses and for this poll we don't take each phase into account because outside Griffin 2 I don't think the different boss fights are really that different. Just the same boss with a few different tricks and moves and you fight Mundus back to back so it might as well as be 1 boss fight. So make things simpler we are just using 1 boss so if you vote for Nelo Angelo because of his 3rd boss fight or Griffin because of his 2nd boss fight that is fine. This may not apply to future games in this poll (3 and 5).

    Having some trouble figuring out how to use Void Slash

    So, I think I more or less have Vergil's entire moveset in DMC5 figured out. I still have a long way to go with application and execution, but I've got the theory and knowledge of it all down, except for Void Slash. I can't quite find out or when you're supposed to use it effectively.

    Its a really cool move, but to me, it seems like it has very little practical use. The fact that it draws enemies in is not very useful because tricking towards them is faster and safer, it doesn't give very much style for how long it takes to do, and it takes up time that you could be using on something else like charging up a Beowulf attack.

    It seems to me that the only positive trait of Void Slash is the fact that, outside of the super moves, its the widest attack in Vergil's arsenal. But even with that it seems situational at best and still sub-optimal for both damage and style.

    I imagine I'm probably just missing something here, because to me, it feels like Void Slash seems like a bit of a waste, there's gotta be something I'm not seeing.
