    Some things I liked in DMC2

    Now I know that DMC2 has A LOT of problems (the biggest issues with me were that it was WAY too hard for me to get combos, Dante wasn't as funny as he should have been, and there was one Devil Heart that was WAY too hard to get) and people here seem to like even the reboot more than it (I've never played the reboot so I can't really judge it; however, from what I've heard, I probably wouldn't like it), but there are several things in DMC2 (Which I have yet to finish with Trish and Lucia) that I actually kinda enjoyed and make me wish that the game turned out better:

    •The overhaul of the control scheme felt a lot more natural compared to DMC1 (putting the melee button adjacent to the shoot button rather than across from it was nice and I appreciated the ability to dodge) and I feel like it prepared me for DMC3 pretty well

    •The customizable Devil Trigger was a neat idea (shame that the only weapons you could do it with were swords; combining it with other types of weapons would have been awesome) and I liked how it applied the element you chose to your projectile attacks (I think other games in the series do this too, but I'm not sure if it happens in DMC3, which I'm currently playing)

    •The music is awesome

    •Lucia's a cool character (especially in Devil Trigger form) and it'd be cool if we could see more of her in the future

    •Much like how people praised the reboot's level design, I kinda like the idea of Dante fighting in more modern urban areas.

    •The game actually did have one moment that made me laugh: That bit where Arius says he was going to be DA KEEEEENG OF THIS WEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLD and Dante responds with "King? Yeah, here's your crown."

    •I think MP5Ks are cool

    If DMC6 did cinematic fight cutscenes again, how would you envision fight scenes with Nero, Dante, Vergil, Trish & Lady?

    We've seen Dante & Vergil fight in cutscenes a lot in DMC3, 4 & 5. Well in 3 & 5 they fight each other a lot. Of course, there's Nero who shoots with Blue Rose at the Empusas during the DMC5 opening credits.

    In the next game, they oughta give more fighting for Nero!

    More fighting with his sword as he rides on the demon like he used to in DMC4. With the Devil Bringer & Breakers, he oughta start switching some. Nero's spectral arm can pull out Red Queen in some situations. More Buster action!

    OH! And we need to see Nero in his DT more. As we've only seen his true DT at the last minute when stopping the brothers.

    I'm not a native English speaker, sorry for any errors.

    I haven't felt this way for a long time. I feel like it will be instantaneously my fav of all times. The tension between Vergil and Dante, the visuals, everything.. it makes me wanna drown myself in those games. I have exams in the near future so I don't want to distract myself by playing, but the anticipation makes the excitement even bigger. It's so cool!

    The thing is, I play games on a pc and I have this feeling that a keyboard and a mouse won't fit right with the style of the gameplay. It makes me a bit anxious because I've never played on a controller and I feel like I wouldn't even get a C rank. Should I play the games on a controller anyway?

    Some other questions - should I play them in a chronological order (I mean the plot) or in a way they were released? Is the DMC5 with Vergil DLC (PC) actually the same as Special Edition (PS)? Will there be the sixth installment? Do you think it would be focused only on Nero? I'd love to see the brothers have some quality time fighting side by side.

    I don't mind spoilers! :)
