    Dante Intermediate/Advanced Tips (DMC5)

    After beating the game twice (Devil Hunter and Son of Sparda) and playing other games for several months, I am getting back to DMC5, in order to properly master the game (trying other difficulties, Bloody Palace, etc.).

    As such, I am training for a bit on the Void, so that I can remember Dante's combos and learn how to chain some of them. I want to conquer his playstyle in order to attack the Bloody Palace and some of his main story missions (for S Ranks). Do you have any helpful tips for stringing combos, maximizing style rankings and optimizing style switches? Thank you.

    When should Double Jump be unlocked?

    I've been playing through the series, finished several playthrough of 4 and started DmC, and I always wondered why the Double Jump was an unlock. In most games it is necessary for certain caches, and even in 1 it wasn't necessary but extremely helpful. Why isn't just unlocked by default in most games?

    Do people regularly attempt the game without it? I like the idea of making "just barely jumps" in New Game, but it seems to cut off many options at the same time.
