    I love the series and I also love 1 but this only limits the potential of the series.

    Sparda lived over 2000 years. Possibly even 2000 as his sealed away "human" self. Yeah he was a full demon and Dante can live forever apparently if he never turns off DT but shafting his human side's lifespan is still crap.

    He should absolutely live longer. Doesn't have to be 2000 years. But come on.

    What I'm thinking is that what Kamiya said is kinda half true since it's not his series anymore. Dante ages like a normal human. We have seen that. However, once fully grown and matured, he should stay his DMC5 self for many years.

    I know he was fully grown in 1 already, but the growth can go on until he is middle aged like right now. It's fiction damn it they can do whatever.

    Besides even Sparda lived a LONG ASS time after he sealed away his demon power and took on the appearance of a human.

    By the way... How the hell did Sparda, a full demon, take on the appearance of a human?

    i saw many posts and comments speculating dante's age but many of them made dante much older than he should be in his fifties or sixties, but tbh it's not that hard to figure his age we can know how old he is by other characters and no i'm not talking about patty but nero.

    nero's age is more accurate than dante and with him we can find out his age in dmc4 and 5, so in back when vergil visited fortuna he was 18 and had nero in dmc4 nero was 19 which makes dante 37 in dmc4. dmc 5 was five years after which makes nero 24 and dante 42, thats it.

    i honestly see it a lot of people fuck up with dante's age saying he's in his forties in dmc4, seriously that shit doesn't make any sense nero was 19 how the hell is dante in his forties? vergil would be more than 20 when he had nero which is bullshit because he was in hell at that age.

    Edit: now with dmc2 it is staded in before the nightmares novel that it's been 10 years which makes dante 32.

    I'm excited to play him but will we just be able to use him on bloody palace?

    My hopes are that he gets some missions whether they are short or not I'll just be happy there's more to play him on.

    DMC held on to fixed cameras longer than Resident Evil did

    RE4 switched to using an over the shoulder camera for the entire game and RE5 did too, cementing it as the new standard. DMC4 was still using fixed cameras in 2008 however and technically didn't drop it until 2019.
