    New Ideas for a DMC inspired action game

    So we have DMC (a stylish over the top action game about a half/part demon devil Hunter who uses their supernatural abilities and demonic weaponry to massacre demons stylishly in usually dark, gothic settings) and a lot of games that take after it or is influenced by it without borrowing too much from its original premise or trying their own premise.

    We have Bayonetta, where a witch fights angels and the legions of heaven using her witch powers and demonic contracts.

    God of War, a demigod take on Gods and beings from Greek (and now Norse) mythology.

    Ninja Gaiden, Ninja vs all sorts of demonic and mutated abominations. Basically an M rated TMNT.

    Metal Gear Rising, cyborg Ninja action.

    Darksiders, Horsemen of the Apocalypse take on the legions of hell and heaven to save humanity from the Apocalypse (ironically)

    That is all I know for now.

    What are some unique take on this genre and style of games you think would be cool in this format that you think hasn't been tried out yet. The style of game would be more combo heavy physics defying combat like DMC and not something like say 2018 God of War (although I did sort of used that as example lol), a Souls game, and beat em ups like Yakuza (so if you an idea for a stylish gangster/mafia action game it's free real estate)

    For me an alien/sci-fi themed take on this style of game would be really cool. We got pretty close with Star Wars Forced Unleashed but most of the enemies were Storm troopers (basically dudes in suits) and a game of this type of embracing it's DMC influence will have all sorts of alien monstrosities with varying biology and abilities. No space soldiers just an alien bounty hunter vs all sorts of insane cosmic beasts. The main hero would either be a guy in a super advance space suit like Sam Gideon from Vanquish and other insane tech that allows him to replicate superhuman feats, a half human half alien hybrid like Starlord from GOTG, genetically altered super solider (or some clone), or a mixture of these ideas. He would basically be either an heroic Boba Fett (w/ a personality), a more badass Issac from Dead Space, and/or an overpowered Han Solo. More outlaw/renegade but willing to help out if given the right price or incentive. Uses all sorts of advanced sci-fi tech, ancient alien weaponry, and physics defying tech as well as an advanced suit to stylishly dispatch aliens......or she. Can be a female lead either or don't matter. Although that would just make it a more action heavy Metroid at this point.
