    Is anyone else having performance problems recently? I used to achieve a consistent 80 fps throughout the entire game, but ever since the most recent update, I've been only hitting like, 30 fps during certain scenes, like most boss fights. anyone know what could be causing this?

    EDIT: I've found the problem, for some reason the update switched it from dx12, back to dx11, and this caused it to slow fps. I went to the dmc5config.ini and changed targetplatform=DirextX11 to DirectX12, and am now getting the same amount of frames as I was beforehand (twice as many in the Goliath fight) here's hoping thats the end of it

    Kinda late to the series since the first one came out a month before I was even born but I remember when I was about 9 or 10 playing DMC4 all the time. Not really looking forward to playing 2 because of all the criticism but I'm really looking forward to playing 3

    Is DMC4 worth playing if DMC1 appeals to me the most?

    To clarify, the original DMC is my favorite of the series because of the setting, music, and atmosphere. Not to mention the nostalgia factor (Capcom was hot off of Resident Evil!). It remains a "comfort food" type of game to me to this day.

    While the innovations of DMC3 were awesome, it doesn't unseat the original's standing in my eyes. Part of this is because, frankly, I'm pretty bad at these stylish action type of games. It was easy to be good at DMC1, but I can't excel at DMC3 in the same way.

    By the time DMC4 came out, I put off playing it and still haven't managed to sit down and knock it out. The special edition is now on sale for extremely cheap on PSN.

    So my question is this: with my attraction to the original DMC being the gothic setting, spooky music/atmosphere, and it being the breezy kind of action game it is, is DMC4 enough like that to be worth my time?

    3. Nero

    I just don't find Nero very fun and his breakers don't do anything for me. I preferred his devil arm from 4.

    V I love because he's so unique and can wreck house if you know what you're doing
