    Nero's Strength

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 02:08 PM PST

How come Nero manage to land a hit to Urizen (broke the crystal), in just 1 month and only having devil breakers as new equipment??

Wherein Dante, who has a lot of experience in fighting demons and he is the son of Sparda, didn't even broke the crystal or even manage to land hit to Urizen in their fight.

Are Devil Breakers really that strong? Is Nero stronger than Dante at that point? What do you think guys?

    New DMC5 features

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 06:49 PM PST

    Playstation Eye Camera Features

Clench your teeth when Nero says "deadweight" (or when Dante says it) during cutscenes in order to automatically make your DT gauge a double gauge for the whole mission. PS Eye has to see your teeth. Be sure to be in a well lit room.

New ability to play as Griffon while the AI controls V and the others. You can only control Griffon using six axis motion controls. You can also control Nightmare and gain 1 exclusive attack but only with PS Move. You are free to use Dualshock 4 motion for Griffon.

You can now play as Vergil. But only in Urizen mode and only the form where he sits down. Mash all the buttons to spam lasers and fireballs and tentacles and spikes as fast as you can. His campaign is only 4 missions. In his last mission you can walk around a little bit but that's it. His last battle with Dante will be added a year from now.

Trish and Lady's asses are now visible. The light is removed and has been replaced with their respective thongs. Beat all missions on DMD S rank to unlock new thongs for them.

Due to fan complaints of no mention of DMC2 a DMC2 flashback has been added. This will take place when Dante is about to wake up after V pretends to try to stab him. As soon as the kid Dante flashback ends, you will see the ending of DMC1 and then DMC2 will begin. The player will be forced into the actual DMC2 Dante campaign. The player DOES NOT NEED to beat the whole campaign but must defeat the sea creature tentacle monster and obtain the motorcycle before opting out. You will then unlock a DMC2 motorcycle skin for his shotgun in DMC5. This concludes the flashback and the game proceeds as normal.

    New taunt for Dante

    Dante: Fuck you....

Only can be used RARELY by a very low chance at D rank.

More updates at a later date.

Can DMC5 Reach 3.5 Mil by the End of the Fiscal Year?

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 10:44 AM PST

My short answer yes or it has a good chance.

Fiscal year in this context just means the 1 year the game has been out from release. So end of fiscal year for DMC5 would be the 1 year anniversary of it's release. I could be using that term wrong I'm not a financial or sales analyst lol.

But you are wondering "Wait didn't DMC5 only reach like 2.7 mil units in August thus implying its overall sales growth is dwindling massively and it would be pure luck if it can sell 3 mil units in a year." You would be right but a Capcom financial rep stated that it is projected to make 3.5 mi units due to special promotions and sales. It seems a lot of the marketing DMC5 has received lately (like the Teppen expansion, crossovers, figures, etc) is to help sell more units. Let's not forget the holiday sales which is something stated by Capcom rep. Haven't you guys noticed a large influx of new people coming on here recently talking about buying or playing the game especially from the holiday sale. The biggest influx of people we've seen in a while. Its safe to say the Holiday sales helped skyrocket the sales a bit. So it's more reasonable now it can and that last report of 2.7 mil was 4 months ago and we still see people purchasing and playing the game. So the sale even before the sales were still steady. I honestly believed with no sale at the pace it was going it would've sold slightly over 3 mil units by the end of the fiscal year. So DMC5 has a really good chance of making that projected 3.5 mil units.

This is good because when someone makes a projection to shareholders that is very favorable and it meets those expectations they become more confident in that brand and see that it has potential for more growth thus more investment in that brand's future. If it doesn't it makes the analyst and company as a whole look bad which may have a slight negative effect on that brand's future. This means they will expect more and thus invest more like bigger teams, more budget, more long term support (DLC...maybe not 5 but DMC6) and more consistent releases (so either multiple teams making multiple games and other multimedia products) to keep brand synergy going.
