"Urizen" is the best play on words ever made for a villain Posted: 30 Oct 2021 06:24 AM PDT It references so many things: Urizen is a character from William Blake's books, who's book V / Vergil is reading. When you pronounce "Urizen" it actually sounds like "your reason". V mentions to Dante that this demon is "your reason" (why Dante fights demons at all). Urizen as Blake's character, is a mythological figure who is one half (embodiment of reason), while the other half (Los) is the embodiment of imagination - the demons of V come from his memories in hell. Urizen (mythological character) also believes himself to be holy and if we really want to stretch it, his other half if Lost If we play with pronouncation, it also sounds like "you risen". Did DMC5 story feel a little short? Posted: 30 Oct 2021 11:18 AM PDT Personally, it was fun but I expected a little more in terms of difficulty, unlockables, and content in general. I mean I literally died for the first time at the FINAL BOSS. I was on Human mode, but still. It also felt like the shortest story in a game I've ever played. Nero's Talk No Jitsu was pretty anticlimactic also. Like I guess I'm supposed to play the story again on a higher difficulty but like... Whatever. I mean I'm gonna have fun playing it again, regardless. But it just really wasn't what I expected. I definitely liked some of the dialogue ( some of it) and Dante is always fun as hell (no pun intended). Idk. I wouldve liked a secret weapon or two to be lying around somewhere (rocket launcher doesn't count) like Bayonetta. Overall this whole game I was looking for more Bayonetta lol. Maybe that's my fault. What are your guy's opinions? What's your favorite thing to do in DMC5? Who do you tend to have the most fun with?
