Do you guys think Nero and Vergil will come to terms in the future?

    Posted: 06 Aug 2021 10:40 AM PDT

I definitely would like to see Nero and Vergil's father & son relationship be established, you can definitely tell that Vergil cares about him deep down now that he knows that he is his son. Hopefully in the next game 🤞🏽

Just finished my DMD run on DMC 1

    Posted: 06 Aug 2021 04:30 PM PDT

Hello! I recently just finished my first DMD run on DMC1. After playing through the 5 games once, I decided to tackle the games harder difficulties, dmc 1 hard wasn't too bad, had some more trouble on enemies than bosses. DMD tho, ohhhh boy, that's where the fun started. On my first and hard playthrough, I mainly used Alastor, I know many people recommended using ifrit for DMD especially bosses, I never really enjoyed its move set, it was fine with alastor until I hit phantom, I wasn't good enough to endure that fight with alastor so I went with something im pretty sure only a small percentage of people had done, using sparda. I heard sparda does about the same damage as DT alastor, it took me a handful of tries on phantom but I was taking a liking to sparda and I ended up using it my whole run, I lacked devil trigger moves but it was alright the game wasn't too bad with sparda, I hit my first true wall probably on the last griffin fight, funny enough I find the second phase easier since most of his ground attacks I have a good time dodging, it's mostly just luck for me in the first phase to get him down, he took me about 4 hours. I heard a bunch of horror stories about nelo 3 and nightmare 3 and mundus, while I can relate to mundus, nightmare 3 and nelo 3 weren't so bad as I thought, nelo however might be because I know he's basically just a bigger Dante so I know the moves he'll throw it, I even found out you can get 2 sparda pause combos on him by manipulating the block he does so it cut the fight down to about 2 minutes for me. Nightmare was the only fights where I had to use ifrit to keep my sanity on how long it took, nightmare 1 was kicking me until I figured out you can hit him even without the core to get DT so that really helped me chunk him, I had trouble getting on his back for the ice beam but I got it down on nightmare 3, nightmare 3 wasn't bad since it was the same fight with the boomerang, I actually prefer getting eaten since I personally have an easy time with nelo, it was that last part that got me really good, the whole run I only had 7 DT bars and basically no untouchables since I used my orbs for yellow orbs for bosses So that part was a real terror for me, thankfully that mission is just nightmare so no yellow orbs wasted, took about 2 hours to do. Mundus….. screw this guy, I was already scared since I have no experience on this boss cause on normal and hard I beat him within like a minute with DT, I really had to learn his patterns but Idk if it's cause I'm bad but some of his attacks felt utter bull crap to deal with if uou are at the wrong spot like his dragon breaking rocks debris that hit you and literally can't escape or just fall into the lava, this fight took me a whole day and I'm so glad I beat DMD. Anyway, just wanted to say this and I'll be doing the other games on harder difficulties. So for bosses ranked on difficultyon dmd for me. Mundus is the hardest, followed by nightmare only for his last phase, griffin, nelo angelo, then phantom. As for fun factor, nelo Angelo is first, phantom, griffin, nightmare, and mundus.
