    TIL, the fire pole of King Cerberus can easily falter Riots in a single hit. (just like Cavaliere. Havever, only the combo moves have this effect). This special effect is disabled once their DT is activated on DMD.

    I saw some merch that called Dante "Dante Sparda". But then everyone refers to him as "son of Sparda", which wouldn't really make sense if it was his last name.

    Hydes song - defeat is literally dmc 5

    So idk if anyone else knows this but after listening to Hydes song defeat I noticed it references the games story a lot

    I slowly creep up fast Transparent slick and rational I'll be the one you're serving You'll try to stop but falter (references Vergil waiting for the right moment to get neros arm and tells how dante,lady,Trish and Nero faild to stop urizen)

    I've got the wild desire You're just a failing matter I have no fear acquired This is Darwinian terror( vergil has a wild desire for more power but his human side is nothing but a piece of failing matter to him

    You'll have to fight to carry on You want it stopped And end this now You'll have to find my Achilles' heel(v,Nero and dante have to keep fighting to stop urizen

    I will spread now I was found too late I'm your creation You can't hide, escape From this fight for the fittest Defeat(the qliphoth is spreading its roots and by the time they found out who urizen was, it was to late)

    Not sure if I'm just over exaggerating and the song wasn't meant to sound like the story but cmon this really does make sense
