    Devil May Cry 5 (PS4, Xbox One, PC) has sold 3.9 million units (200,000 additional units since June 30)

    Capcom's Platinum Titles

    We're on the edge, almost 4 million units sold!

    Unfortunately, PC would have to carry most of the weight going forward with the special edition releasing at an affordable price.

    Hopefully the special edition of Devil May Cry 5 sells enough to be added to the Platinum Titles list. Would love to see some new fans making the purchase, even if some of us would rather just purchase the $5 Vergil DLC next month.

    I honestly can't believe how much character development Vergil has gone through. He went from being cold, callous and merciless to an aloof, stoic and secretly silly.

    I mean, Vergil was already stoic but not in the degree where he was approachable. Before Vergil was a character you did want to mess with because you'd die before even realizing it.

    Now, it seems you could mess with Vergil, which would irritate him, but he'd secretly find it amusing.

    While we were kinda disappointed that SE M20 wasn't Player Vergil vs Nero, I think that most of us were still impressed by M20 Dante. Still, how would a boss Nero fight?

    They just keep bringing it back. It's a fan favorite and is good enough to have made its way into two DMC games that it didn't have any particular canonical business being in - and people have even come up with some great ideas on how post-Urizen Vergil could have obtained it again.

    Can't wait to use its latest iteration in December against DMC5's bosses.

    The eventual DMC Zero needs to be Devil May Cry's MGS 3...

    Maybe show us the comraderie between sparda and mundus? Make us like mundus just to make that eventual sparda vs mundus final boss hurt even more. I can see some great character interactions between the two with the current localization team and the current writers. If theres anything they are good at its fucking character interactions. Do NOT make it a plot focused game. Do what DMC does best and make it character driven and its guaranteed to be a hit. Sometimes simpler really is better. What do you guys think?

    Dont post if you DONT want a sparda game. Dont be a party pooper.
