    So I had a strange DMC dream.

    So this dream happened a few days ago. I had a dream where DmC: Devil May Cry Dante had a unique death animation where his head would just be eaten clean and oddly very up close to the camera. When I woke up from it, I was a bit scared that I dreamed of something like that, but the more I thought about it, the more I kinda thought that people who hate this Dante would be happy to dream of something like this.

    P.S I learned you can parry Fury. I don't hate him as much anymore.

    Since DSD is capable of Merging and Yamato is capable of (Separating/Merging).I was hoping what if Vergil and Dante stabbed simultaneously with DSD will they be fused and if they want to defuse they can use Yamato to separate. Anyone wants to discuss.

    Is there SS rank for missions in other DMCs than DMC3?

    Hello, just asking to be sure since no info on wiki about that, I guess DMC1 doesnt have this since there is no visible requirements but in DMC2 they made it already but I couldnt get 5S on any mission in DMC2 or DMC4 to check it, only got few SS in DMC3 (and they say DMC3 was the hardest). Didnt play DMC5 yet so curious about it too for future playthrough.

    Also as I understand hell or hell and other funny difficulties doesnt count in total ranking? I dont see it there but I havent played them yet.

    I've nearly rebeat dmc3 on Switch, and i think it is time to be reflective on the experience

    Replaying DMC 3 with style switching and all devil arm was so fun! I have discovered a passion for Beowulf and Nevan, while before i tend to stick to Rebellion and Agni and Rudra, concerning firearm though i still mostly use Ebony and Ivory and coyoteA, and while before E&I were the guns i used the most now i use more of coyoteA since i've learn the jump cancel with it.

    Concerning boss i have mixed opinion about them, while they are mostly still fun they for the most part weren't as fun as i remembered. Cerberus was a lot harder for a first boss than i remembered but as awesome as ever, though i think i prefer kingC, agny and rudra were as hard as i remembered, though i have learned how to easily beat them, Nevan was still the easiest but fun Beowulf was the hardest and i still have problems Reading his attacks, but i was fun, Vergil was as fun as ever though i find vergil1 and 2 a lot easier than i remember though i have yet to fight Vergil3 Big expectations here! :)

    As for the other they were a little disapointing, still fun but i don't find them as appealing as the others, though Arkham is the worst offender in my opinion, his jocker optionnal boss are realy not fun i find, and Arkham in mission 19 is the worst for some reason i remember it as not fun but quite easy to pass trough, but i was so wrong.... X) anyway except that little detail, the game is Amazing, as good as ever, even though some part of it don't live up to m'y memories of it.

    I've also tried bloody palace with a Friend and it was Amazing, 30fps boss are a little weird at first but playing vergil for the first Time was incredible Never played him on 3se nor 4se before play him of DmC but nothing comparable like ever, and playing DMC with a Friend was the most fun i had playing DMC in a long time, at one point we've played a little tennis ball party with an ennemy until it explosed in mid air it was amazing!

    I recently picked up DmC 3 and DmC 1 from a retro game store, and I've been wondering about the recommended order to play the games in for a first time player to the series. Any help is welcome!

    Am I right in feeling like DMC 3 is much harder than 4 and 5, even with style switching and the lowered difficulty in 3 SE?

    Been making my way through 3 SE on PC and kind of shocked at how hard it is. I figured having style switching would break the game in half since it was never balanced around it but I'm finding 3 SE on Normal much harder than 4 and 5 on DMD even with it.

    For an extreme example I went back to the HD collection to fight Vergil 3 on Normal with just Trickster, Rebellion and E&I and then tried Mission 19 in DMC 5 on DMD with the same restrictions. I found Vergil 3 on Normal to be much harder than M19 Vergil on DMD. I seriously struggled with Vergil 3 where M19 was pretty simple. Between being able to juggle him and having such a large area, 5 Vergil is a lot less threatening even when playing within the restrictions 3 Dante had.

    Maybe I just don't know 3 well enough to excel like I do in 5 (to be fair I know 5 Vergil's fight like the back of my hand so that probably played a big part) but it feels like 3 is just relentless in ways 4 and 5 aren't.

    3 is the only action game I've ever played that can regularly leave my hands and arms numb from sheer exhaustion after an intense fight and I'm loving the challenge but can't quite put my finger on why it feels so much harder than the later games. 4 and 5 didn't give me anywhere near this kind of trouble on a fresh file. All I can say is I don't know how the hell I beat vanilla DMC 3 as a kid when I'm still struggling with the easier SE after Godsuno knows how many playthroughs over the years.
