    Been replaying DMC 1, been a crazy amount of years, since I was a kid actually. And I remember how much I love the ambiance of the game. It's so dark and semi scary in its own way, I really love this game because of that. Now this isn't saying this is the best game overall but it definitely has the best atmosphere for me personally.

    So went back to playing DMC1 and found out something i never knew when the game first came out on ps2

    The part where you fight the shadow for the first time on normal mode, on Mission 6 i revisited this area because i wanted to see if I can go back and do secret mission 4 and I noticed Phantom will infinitely respawn as long as you enter and exit the room so you basically can farm him for all the upgrades over and over if you wanted to.

    Am I the only one who didn’t completely hate Devil May Cry 2?

    I've read a lot of stuff online about how people hated DMC 2 because the combat was too easy, or how they changed Dante's personality. I played the game for the first time about 2 months ago, and while it's certainly not my favorite in the series, and I probably wouldn't play through it again, I didn't hate it.

    After beating DMC 1 through the cost my very Soul, DMC 2 is ridiculously easy.

    Like holy crap, i barely lose health at all, Enemies aren't agressive, Dante has really MASSIVE gap creators which means its really easy for me to put some distance between me and my opponents if i need to.

    I barely get hit, and when i do, the damage is silly and barely noticeable, wow this game is stupid easy, i was expecting something along the same lines, i like the game, i know i swim against the tide on this one since people say it sucks, but i think it's a pretty decent game so far, just super damn easy. I'm cruising through the story.

    It's like i'm playing a slightly more agitated version of those Telltale games where you simply CAN'T lose.
