| Sparda's Betrayal Was Predicted (What Are Mundus's True Intentions?) Posted: 05 May 2020 05:52 PM PDT I recently replayed DMC1, and checked around the bookcases. One of them had an excerpt... "There's a word left by a notable prophet when he visited this castle. It states, "Pluto shall come on the promised date and separate heaven and earth. One with black wings of treachery shall come and stand in Pluto's way."" Pluto, being Mundus, is the god of the underworld. Soo...this is incredibly interesting to me... Who could be this prophet? During ancient times, Sparda and Mundus were best buds...practical brothers at the time. BFFs. What could this prophet know? The black wings of treachery is obviously Sparda. And...Mundus was trying to separate "HEAVEN" and Earth "The Human World." Does heaven exist in DMC? Could this be a translation error of some kind, so it could mean "combine" instead of separate? "HEAVEN" could mean hell in this excerpt, as Mundus himself was a false god trying to combine both the human world and the demon world, Sparda stopped him. This whole thing seems very interesting to me....Mallet Island were all Mundus Worshippers. There would've been a "promised date" that Mundus will arrive and do his promised duties of some sort. That sort of prediction is incredible...Sparda could've planned this beforehand, or this prophet was some sort of mystic. [link] [comments] | ||

| How do I deal with dmc4's enemies as dante and vergil? Posted: 05 May 2020 04:28 PM PDT Dealing with enemies as nero is really easy, but what about dante and vergil. Scarecrows and mega scarecriws are easy enough. How do I deal with frost's hyperarmor? How do i make them not escape from my combo? Same with assaults, they can just escape a combo, it's so dumb. And the Blitz is like a fury from dmc5 but you can't hit it. And the bloody palace is so dumb, they throw a blitz at you like every other stage from stages 20 to 40. And the fausts, how do i deal with them(mephistos are easy enough). Alto and bianco angelos can also just escape your combo. Why can so many enemies escape or even damage you while being comboed? Dmc5 has no enemies like that. Even dmc3 has no enemies like that, and it came before dmc4. And please no "just use prop shredder and dri them, it's easy". I don't always have dt and I usually just get hit by another enemy if i try dri, even if i use camera manipulation. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 05 May 2020 04:36 PM PDT I've been wondering about this for a while, but did Vergil plan on maintaining the Qliphoth after he fought/killed Dante? It's just how he sits on his "throne" as he waits for Dante seems like he's just gonna keep leeching off of the city afterwards but I thought he'd given up his "DMC3" power-hungry crusade after he spent time as V and saw the monster that Urizen was? I thought he had left his lust for power behind and just wanted to finally defeat/kill his brother once and for all? I thought this because Vergil looked like he had no problem with destroying the Qliphoth with his brother in the ending but it'd be great to get some clarification! [link] [comments] | ||

| Insta Exceed charging question Posted: 05 May 2020 01:53 PM PDT Heya everyone how's it goin? I recently picked up dmc4 special editon and I'm curious about the exceed system. I understand that you can get a bar of exceed mid combo by pressing the button at the right time, but i just unlocked exceed 2 and i want to be able to use it mid combo but since you only get one bar, how do i get 2 any other way besides charging up before the combo?
