    V's versions of Griffon, Shadow and Nightmare are their true/original forms

    (I haven't read Visions of V, so I don't know if this is already addressed in that.)

    V's Griffon = sleek and glossy Mundus's Griffon: pestilential, scruffy, looks like multiple creatures stapled together

    V's shadow: sleek and glossy again Mundus's Shadows: all ragged and smoky-looking

    V's Nightmare: cohesive humanoid form Mundus's Nightmare: blobby mess

    I think V's companions are what these creatures were supposed to look like. Mundus wasn't a benevolent ruler and didn't take good care of his minions, which is why they looked all scratty from overwork and neglect. (Perhaps Nelo Angelo did encounter them in their true forms long ago, which is how V was able to remember them.)

    I am always amazed how many gamers don’t know about devil may cry. How did you guys hear about this game? For me it was Devil May cry one and it was included in a demo and I LOVED it. But had I never played that demo 20 years ago I honestly don’t think I would have ever even heard of the game.

    At least in the circles I run with and the media I consume I have never seen anything about devil may cry and was just thinking about how had I never played that demo that blew my nips off 20 years ago I wouldn't be the demon hunter I am today. sheds tear

    hello everyone! Question in title, i just finished DmC3 on switch and loved it for the most part and was thinking of getting the fourth one, do you think it's worth the 25e the ps-store asking for it ?

    i already own and did DMC 5 so I just need to do 4 and 1 (but not sure if still worth a play) do have done them all!
